Went to Backpocket Brewery after an Iowa visit event at the Marriott. We enjoyed the food and the service was great too. It's definitely a beer place. I prefer wine and there wasn't much of a selection. However, would return if in the area again.

I've had more beer here than I have food, but I can vouch for a wonderful atmosphere, friendly service and good entertainment.

Beer was okay but the food was typical bar food. (what did I expect right?) :-) We sat outside, nice fire pit, noise level wasn't as high outside as inside. Not sure we'll go back unless it's just for a beer.

This place is cozy in size but the big brewery you get to look at makes up for it. Great beer, good times!

So so atmosphere but good beer. Patio is good but inside feels like a cafeteria type of setting. But service and beer are 👍.

This was a thoroughly average stop for dinner. We came here because we love trying local breweries when we travel, and the beers were disappointingly unremarkable (though inoffensive). The server had way too many tables, so even though he was trying his best nobody got good service. When the pizzas came, one was OK and the other had soggy crust.... More

Always a pleasant place to visit. The waiter was super nice and we had a long wait. I sent a letter to the staff via email and the GM responded and was very kind and appreciative of my words.

Our server helped us figure out how to keep our purchase cheap. He also kept the water coming, explained every beer in the flight purchased, and sat and talked to us for a bit. The atmosphere was also very calming after having just been to a wedding.

We were visiting town with 10 and 12 year old. This place was great. Food consisted on pizza/calzones and the beer was good. We played games (Sorry and Connect 4) while waiting for calzones to cook. Staff were super friendly. Really close to Quality Inn - could even walk if you wanted. Right off I-80. Definitely a place I would... More

Wife and I always seek microbreweries when we travel. This was just behind the Homewood Suites and a short walk down the hill. Excellent selection of brews and several good IPA's. We also a pizza made in their stone oven. The bottom was burned some, but it still had a good favor. Overdone because they were busy preparing the rest... More
