This place is an important part of South Bend History. I encourage anyone to go see the building and read the history throughout. However, I recently ate supper there for the first time in about 30 years. Honestly, I was depressed when we left. One...More

If you are a person that doesn't go out much for dinner you will probably be OK here. Typical fare. Prime rib, steak, a couple of fish dishes. Nothing inventive, cutting edge. The building is pretty, the Sunday Brunch is fine. Dollar for dollar though...More

This is a nice restaurant with delicious food. The live piano is awesome. Some friends have celebrated their weddings here and is really a nice place for doing it.

Lovely, lovely building. Be sure to explore all the floors! They offer guided tours at certain times. They also sell a guide book for self tours. The service is great. The food is outstanding!! We will return!!!

Large portions and great steak! Unique building but a tad tired inside of mansion. Excellent service and overall good food.

You are in for a treat when you dine at the Tippecanoe Place Restaurant in South Bend, IN. If you are in town for awhile, you might want to try it out. Food is good and the old Tippecanoe house is lovely.

We went to Tippecanoe for dinner and I was not impressed. The food should be a lot better considering the high price. the plates are beautiful, but they do not have flavor. the service is good and it can get busy.

A 30 footer is going to be tough. Just getting up the drive may be a challenge. You may be able to find a spot on a side street, and walk. Call the restaurant, they may have some ideas.

I thought the second floor was most intriguing blend. Regardless of where you are seated, go walk about and explore.
