...and it's INCREDIBLE! Several flavors of ice cream, tasty waffle cones, chocolate goodies and, best of all, an assortment of types of caramel apples. Scrumptious! I always get an apple to take home and 2 scoops of the coconut to eat there. It's a blessing and a curse to live 45min away. I'd probably be there every day if I... More

Great place to recap our walking tour of the Univ. ND campus. We enjoyed snacking at this small shop with fudge and ice cream. Plenty of flavors to chose from, and friendly service.

Only Kilwins shop in the state! Kilwins serves up ice cream and candy...a real sweet shop! Missed the ice cream delivery truck and consequently had no mint chocolate chip ice cream which is a personal favorite. Nonetheless, on a hot summer day, it was very refreshing.

Ice cream is supposed to be fun. Place is dull looking; has no "ice cream parlor" appeal. No prices posted. Self service stand up line. We ordered a small hot fudge sundae. We received no request for the type of ice cream. He just put a scoop of vanilla ice cream in a plastic cup, added the syrup and whipped... More

Stopped for ice cream after dinner. Sure glad we did! All four of us got a double dip waffle cone, each trying different flavored. They were all delicious! I loved the toasted coconut. Even the waffle cone was the best I've ever had. It tasted freshly made and had a yummy almond flavor with each crunch. Ice cream was a... More

If visiting Notre Dame or South Bend in general, stop by this shop because you won't regret it. The items are not cheap, but it's quality and worth it. I purchased two chocolate-covered pretzel twists and a peanut butter cup. The owner told me and the worker being trained that they were like Reese's Peanut Butter Cup on crack. She... More

I only go here on Valentines Day to get the woman some chocolate. It is just too damn Expensive! I mean, how much can it cost to melt sugar, and mix it with some cocoa? Okay, I have to say, it does blow the downtown chocolate shop out of the water.Really good stuff, just bring your piggy bank and a... More

Literally across the street from the University of Notre Dame, Kilwins is a great place to stop for ice cream, or to pick up some hand made fudge to take home. The ice cream is excellent. Nice variety of flavors, hand scooped into waffle cones, sugar cones, or bowls if you prefer. The fudge is as good as any I've... More

Nice old style ice cream and candy shop directly across the street from Notre Dame. My kids LOVE this place. It is fun, the variety of ice cream and toppings makes it a total hit. The candy and fudge are also amazing.

Grabbed a quick ice cream after dinner on Eddy Street. Convenient location across from Notre Dame. Lots of other choices if you aren't interested in ice cream - caramel corn, fudge, chocolates, caramel apples and more.
