It's your good old '50s/'60s downtown diner with good food, busy waitresses, and all the 'regulars'.

They served super fast despite the customers are packed up at lunchpeak time. Simple food of good taste. Black and white pictures on the wall. Full of 80's feel.

I stopped by for lunch. I had chicken and dumpling soup that is absolutely homemade good and a grilled cheese sandwich. I have a cold so this is just what I was looking for. I heard the cheeseburger is great and will try that next time. Great original down home atmosphere. Like stepping back in time to the good old... More

They have been in town for many years. My favorite food are their french fries. Yum. The second are the hamburgers. Real hamburger. The staff is prompt to wait on you. They remind of hamburgers i used to get when I was a kid in my home town..

Quick service, delicious food. Hadn't eaten there for years, very seldom in Seymour during their open hours. Breakfast was very good. Can't wait to go back soon to try their lunch menu.

This place has a lot of history associated with John Mellencamp. The food is fresh - the hamburgers are good and the double fried French fries are really yummy

Take a step back in time to the way things use to be, simple, but good. The decor of the dinner feels like you're taking a step back in time. The dinner was clean, had a good amount of seating and a cool vintage look and feel. The staff was fantastic. They were friendly, polite, funny and enjoyed chatting. Service... More

Very good burger cooked on the flat grill. Fresh meat. Home made fries. I liked the home town diner. It has been there 40 years. Says something... Fast service since it was almost 2 pm.

I can't believe I've never eaten here before. Was passing through Seymour and checked out tripadvisor and decided to stop here. I tried the breaded pork tenderloin sandwich, a cheeseburger, and fries. The tenderloin was very good but the cheeseburger with grilled onions was awesome. The fries were some of the best fresh cut fries I've had. Can't wait to... More

My family enjoys finding hole in the wall places to eat. Today was rainy so we decided on a drive away from home. We ended up on Chestnut St in Seymour (John Cougar Mellancamp debut album in 1976) & found this adorable little diner. We consumed the deliciousness which consisted of chicken salad, bison burger, chicken tenders & fries. The... More
