All four of us had something different for breakfast. Good variety, great food. Friendly, attentive staff.

This is a great place if you are looking for a salad bar. They also do a good breakfast buffet and will cook eggs to order as well as choice of toast. Their burgers and fries are very good. Clean restaurant with full menu.

We ate from breakfast bar and ordered our egs from kitchen at no extra cost. Bbreakfast bar was below my expectations. Biscuits were rock hard. Had to tell server about them. Potatoes were luke warm and last of the pan. Tried them when they refreshed with fresh biscuits.

It's been some time since we actually went to Jim Dandy but I wasn't doing reviews back then. We went there when we first moved here and when we walked in ... we immediately felt as though we didn't belong there. The customers are older and it looks as though they are all regulars ... they all know each other.... More

We got take out one Sunday night and it was absolutely fabulous! Fantastic broasted chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, Mac n cheese and biscuits and apple butter. 12 piece with the quart size sides was perfect for 3 hungry adults!

Tuesday night is Senior night. Broasted chicken had incredible flavor and was on a nice buffet of various salad items and even biscuits with apple butter. French fries have just the right amount of crispness! Although the clientele seemed a little older, the food was something younger generations may be missing out on if they don't give Jim dandy a... This restaurant has been here forever it seems like (I remember eating here 30 years ago!) and that is a tribute to its good food and service. We guessed that it was somewhat of a local hangout and we imagined that many of the customers probably came here on a regular basis for lunch or dinner. I think this might... More

The Good: Local, Old School, Great Service, Good Value, Healthy Choices. The Bad: Not Great Food, Untidy This is an old school family buffet sort of place. It's been in the area for generations and the crowd is mostly older folks. I prefer local places to chains so I hoped this would be my kind of place. The exterior is... More

The service was slow, once we got seated. I had the breakfast buffet - at a decent price too. Waited 27 minutes for my wife's strawberry pancakes and daughter's chocolate muffin. Coffee was good. Locals were in and out of there, so it must be a favorite. Food on the breakfast bar was pretty good. Wife said the pancakes weren't... More
