There are so many items to choose from. I had the chicken chimichanga with was great and the taco salad was good too. Took two other colleagues who work in the immediate area and enjoyed this restaurant. I ordered the taquitos mexicanas with chicken and steak, along with sour cream and guacamole and they were excellent. My co workers had ordered the thee steak tacos and a burrito. The steak tacos were huge and filled with cooked, marinated, flavorful steak. It was lunch... More

We eat here quite often. My favorite thing to order is their Chicken Fajitas. It is a huge helping, I always share with my daughter or have a second meal for later.

El Nopal is hands-down my favorite mexican restaurant in the area. Their home made salsa is excellent. They're always quick to bring you salsa and chips. The wait staff has always been very friendly and quick to serve. It rarely takes more than 5-10 minutes to get your food and it's always hot and fresh. My husband's favorite is the... More

$50 for 3 plus tip...big, big portions, average rice, typical refried beans, good salsa though. Did not think food merited prices although service was attentive and prompt.

Our waiter was very attentive, and our drinks, chips, and food came quickly. This was a Saturday afternoon, and we were two of about 10 people in this fairly large restaurant. In the past, this place has always been busy. We've not been in a while, because the food isn't as spicy as it used to be. Is this why... More

Where should I start? My husband and I eat Mexican food once per week. After moving from Lexington recently to the Louisville area, we've began exploring new venues. We found El Nopal in NewAlbany. We ordered the seafood fajitas for two along with the gold margaritas. Wow! After hundreds Mexican food meals, this was truly THE BEST! The seafood was... More
