Recently had lunch at La Mar ,very limited lunch menu ,all day breakfast was available . The whole premises is so dirty and unkempt ,cobwebs and weeds growing outside ,such a shame as the food is always nice ! A good hosing ,clean windows etc...and a bit of elbow grease is badly needed! I believe it is on the market ,so more reason for a general clean up ! Won’t be going back til new owners or they lift their game !More

I recently moved to the NW coast with first priority being to find the perfect cafe with great coffee and food. Found it at Turners Beach - La Mar. Coffee is great and always consistent. Food also good with local fresh produce. Staff are friendly...and as a bonus, Gerald is not too hard to look at either !!!More

This cafe has such a relaxed and boho vibe which is hard to come across on the northwest of Tasmania I have found. Great menu although probably a little overpriced. Coffee could be better although pretty good. Healthy, interesting menu and you feel transported to...northern NSW when you're there.More

What could have been a lovely spot for coffee was ruined by grumpy staff, dogs near the door and parking nightmares. Not a friendly welcome, overwhelmed by music and noise and average coffee. Will not be returning to this place which is a pity given...its location and recommendations by friends.More

So happy to see the standard is just the same since our last visit here while on holiday. Can recommend the Eastern Omelette (at least I think that's what it was called). Absolutely delicious. Coffee's always good and the service is too.

My family and I went here for lunch on a nice day and absolutely loved it. The food was delicious, especially the lamb burger and the Vietnamese chicken, and we enjoyed the service. We left with smiles and a great cookbook. Would definitely love to...come here again.More

Went for lunch on a rainy day. Cafe being full shows how popular it is - for good reason. Best fish and chips I’ve had in years, crispy perfect fish, house made tartare and wonderful salad to go with it. Hubby had their version of...eggs bene - also delicious. Brilliant value for money and great service. Left with a giant local cauliflower and a new cookbook - new favourite spot!More

I’ve just had the best meal at la mar. All my favourite things in one dish! Sweet potato, grilled halloumi, mushrooms, broccoli with a beautiful basil sauce. Highly recommend this dish and the service was impeccable. Great value for money

I had a wonderful meal at this cafe. Problem was a waitress was patting a dog and then came inside to serve food. She may have washed. I could not see. I cannot return. Ann
