When you first walk into Shiraaz the aromas raise your hopes that you are in for a fabulous meal. And does Shiraaz deliver! The restaurant is small but the tables are nicely set with white tablecloths which isn't that common anymore. The staff are polite...and attentive but not overbearing. The menu is extensive and has something for everybody. It was hard to make a decision! We settled on bonda, butter chicken, shiraaz kofta, paneer, prawn malai, rice and raita. What a feast it was! Every dish was obviously cooked by a chef who knows their craft well. We could not fault anything. The raita, in particular, was a lot tastier than I have had before in Indian restaurants. The prices are very reasonable considering the high quality of the food. Shiraaz has a thriving take-away customer base as well, judging by the number of people who came in to collect food. I am not surprised and would highly recommend Shiraaz to anyone in this outer part of Melbourne. I can't wait to come back again.More

This is a good restaurant. Greeted warmly at the door and shown to our table. Promptly took a drinks order and entrees served swiftly. I like the way we were asked if we were ready for mains to be served or wished to wait awhile....The food was delicious. I like fish curries and sometimes they can be too dried out - not here. A fine meal for all four of us and well priced. Fine and clean decor and pleasant staff.More

Great find, we were walking to the pub and stumbled across this joint, Authentic flavours, great service and great prices. Hard to find good Indian food in the burbs but this joint is good. Not one bad meal amongst 6 of us and the service...was very attentive. All in all a very good experience. We will be back.More

The place has been there for years, and its definitely still going strong! Great flavours, professional staff, and a great dine-in restaurant. There are plenty of Indian restaurants around the FTG area, and this is one of the best. A little more expensive, but worth...it.More

Our family of 8 came for dinner including several little kids. The staff were obliging and allowed us to make more room by adding another table. We ordered an entree platter, butter chicken and rice, dhal and naan and all of it was very very...good. If I lived closer I would definitely come back. And it's licensed and BYO!More

Excellent Indian meal which included samosa’s, chicken korma, mixed vegetable curry, garlic nann and rice. Would recommend.

Fabulous food, excellent service, great atmosphere. Dined at Shiraaz on a Saturday night in August prior to a show at the 1812 theatre and will return.

So within a 3 km radius I have 4 Indian restaurants, this is the only one I haven't been to before. Tonight was a Sunday night, so it wasn't busy, yet the restaurant had a good number of staff, the crisp linen laid tables were...beautifully laid out and the food was all cooked to order. "Tasty, tasty, tasty" are just 3 words to describe the food. Will we go back? Yep! Did I mention that I have four Indian restaurants in a 3 km radius of me??? All are excellent, I'm so spoilt for choice.More

This would have to be one of my all time favourite Indian restaurants. Lovely staff who remember you, great Indian food and timely delivery! You can't go wrong.

The takeaway family pack from Shiraaz is always good value and the curries included are consistently good in value and flavour.
