This cafe is an Old-World-Charm, and has an amazing vibe. It's probably among the only 2 cafes around 1000 steps that does some good meals.
The open souvlaki was the best of all we had and thus the ratings. The eggs benedict...was decent as well, nothing unusual but usual done good.
The biggest letdown was the coffee and chai. Chai latte was too sweet to handle and coffee tasted burnt....Which could have scored them a lot less but the brunch is worth the rating.
Economical and friendly cafe that's quite famous in the area.More
The food was excellent as usual and the coffee also but the waitress we had to deal with was rude and quite upsetting in fact. she started by almost giving our table away and the was stand offish and quite rude throughout the rest of...the dinning experience which was a surprise as the wait staff are normally beautiful to deal withMore
Hubby and I were randomly looking for somewhere to have breakfast before doing some clothing shopping, and we ended up at Ferntree Gully. What a find! Friendly service, and very quick to get our drinks, then food, to us. Very delicious food for very reasonable...prices. Nice little touches like a chocolate on the teaspoon of the coffee, and my mango smoothie had shaved coconut, cranberries and pepitas on top. I had chilli scrambled eggs with a side of bacon - probably one of the tastiest breakfasts I have had anywhere. Hubby's egg benedict was above average as well, he particularly enjoyed the thick-cut ham.More
What a gem! Was going to another nearby cafe but the only guest there was having a very loud conversation on her phone so I left immediately. Back to Brew’d and found a place with a cosy interior and where lots of people are clearly...regulars and greeted by name, and a familiar, caring chat. Pleasant and friendly staff. Eggs benedict with extra mushrooms, yummy and priced as usual. Lots of sweet things to enjoy with coffee. The hot chocolate was rich and chocolately!
Made my day!More
Based on a recommendation we adjourned for lunch. The salads are divine and the soup of the day with sourdough on the money for a light lunch on a cold day. This is a hidden gem in Ferntree Gully and well worth a visit
