Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

FINALLY!!! The very best veggie burger. HEAPS of salad. Only $10, but so filling. Couldn't fit hot chips in even if I tried.

We were eager for a hot breakfast on a very cold morning in Clifton. The staff were very welcoming and the food was delicious and prompt in serving. We appreciated the staff member was on her own and did a great job of making our...breakfast with a nice coffee.More

We arrived for lunch and we were dining in. The three ladies behind the counter just stared at us as we entered, no friendly hello or anything. We asked for meat pies from the hot food cabinet and the lady started putting them in take...away bags. I said we are dining in, can we have them on plates. There is a dining room attached to the café. She just ignored me and kept putting our pies in bags. I said it again but she still put our pies in paper bags. Our whole experience was strange, and we were glad to leave. They call it a jam factory and café. We expected to see home made jam for sale but there wasn't any. A bit weird.More

i've stopped for lunch before when travelling though and though it would be a good break in our journey. Nothing has changed on this visit, it was very busy with plenty of locals having lunch. It remains good value, supplying lunches that arrived quickly and...were thoroughly enjoyed. Looking forward to the next visit.More

Good, big burgers here, with a knife pierced through the middle to keep it all together. Beef pattie is blended at the local Clifton butcher, so it's gotta be good!! Also has latest newspapers for diners to peruse.

Was staying in Clifton to attend the Clifton Country Show and visited the Jam Factory for breakfast. Great selection of brekkie food and I can state that the bacon and rich country eggs were among the best I've ever enjoyed. Lots of nice art and...craft on display and I bought a souvenir hand towel - hand embroidered. Friendly service. Would visit again.More
