Great place for BBQ meats in town. Definitely worth a stop, but can be really busy during lunch. It has limited seating so get there early or wait til after the rush. They have a good variety of meat and cooked pretty well. Its better than a chain joint for good ribs or pulled pork. Sides aren't bad either.

Pulled pork was good, good French fries, corn bread, good baked beans was tasty. Lots of selection of meats. Place was a little hectic, and there was limited seating - but it's worth it. Very, very casual. Is easy to get to, except there is major road construction on Sagamore Parkway. Would imagine when road construction is finished, this place... More

Pulled pork platter was good, sides were fine, pricing fair. But the deep fried pecan pie was most interesting and quite decent although it was a bit shy of pecans, needs a lot more to be outstanding.

NOT. Perhaps my rating is one too high, also. I've smoked a lot of meat in my time.....my brisket, my wife's pulled chicken and my brother-in-law's chicken did not have much smoke flavor. The meat, in each case, was good but not what I would expect when I'm told that it was smoked. The sides that we had were not... More

Wow! It's a hole in the wall kind of place. Order at the counter and number called casual style with boths and serve yourself soda and sauce. But boy oh boy is it good. My husband had the 1/2 chicken and rib tips. So much food he actually needed a take home box. I had a sandwich of brisket. Soooo... More

I like that my pulled pork is wrapped separate from my bun on a carry out order so it doesn't get soggy. I like the selection of sauces. No complaints with the meat. The fries though... skip them. I've never had good fries there ever. I've dined over the years here several times and I've given them plenty of chances.... More

South Street Smoke House keeps their smokers stoked all day long. The slabs of St. Louis spare ribs and baby backs fall off the bone. The sides are very good, especially the baked beans and cornbread. Don't miss the large pots of homemade sauce to mix and match, from sweet to hot hot. Best in town!

I go here at least twice a month. It is so good. The brisket is my favorite. But the pulled pork is really great too.

Stopped for late lunch and we were not disappointed. Chicken, brisket and ribs are delicious. Six choices for sauce. May have to wait if you come at busy hour.
