How is Bistrot Plume rated?

We booked a table for two at Bistrot Plume on a recent Sunday, for our 46th wedding anniversary, and it didn’t disappoint. We chose the Menu du Jour, and the food was just outstanding. We were served around six servings, at least two sides, then...dessert, all selected by Chef. Coffee and chocolates followed. French wine a bonus find. Service was prompt and professional (thanx Ruby), and we would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a top French inspired food and wine experience, or for any special occasion.More

A bit of France in Geelong

The food is a lovely slice of France with oysters, steak tartare and terrine included in the starters, and I had the fish of the day for mains. And all were excellent. I would like to return and try more as it was hard to...choose as all looked good.More

Exquisite Dining Experience

This was a truly exquisite dining experience with my husband. Devine service & beautiful food from oysters, to kingfish sashimi, to fish of the day with glorious side dishes, finishing with a stunning crème brûlée. All dishes with a strong French signature, we felt indulged...& loved the level of impeccable service, a beautiful dining experience this evening. The Beaujolais a must. Thank you Bistrot Plume. A wonderful evening.

It was a special night for us and we couldn't have been happier with our choice of venue. Away from the maddening crowd. Lovely decor. Friendly, helpful and non intrusive service. The food was outstanding. We are recommending it to all our friends and will...definitely be back soon.More

This is a very small intimate restaurant. The food is fantastic and all served with added touches of flair! Very helpful and friendly staff.

Small venue big taste!

Great food, wine and service. Small in size but big on flavour. Enjoyed the 4 course set menu with matched wines. Will be back again! Suits small bookings.

French cuisine in suburban Geelong

Exceptional food exceptional service. This is my favourite restaurant and the Riesling goes down a little to smoothly. Ticked snails off the bucket list, and who knew Brussel Sprouts were mouthwatering!

Amazing

Dined here last week and the food and service were excellent. I haven’t been to a restaurant for a long time where the food and service were of such a high standard. Definitely will be returning.

We had lunch here last week

We had lunch here last week and loved our experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our entrees and mains and shared a raspberry dessert which was the nicest dessert I’ve ever eaten! Everything was perfect and the service was unobtrusive and efficient. I’m hoping we can return...soon.More

Birthday dinner

This venue is very noisy in the back room and hard to have a decent conversation. Has always been the same in previous lives. Entree was great, main steak was nice , fries too many and dry, dessert was fantastic Service average by our waitress,...not sure would go back againMore

Delicious 2 course lunch

Stopped in one lunch time for a coffee and cake, however looked at the lunch menu and I could not resist it. First were delicious croquettes filled with cod and a wonderful dipping mayo. Followed by grilled barramundi with capers and salad. The flavours were...sensational and previously not liking capers, I am now converted. Then I couldn't say no to the delicious butter cake with blueberries and lemon icing drizzled over the top. It was a wonderful experience and will definitely return.More

Fantastic Seafood Feast

I recently visited Plume and had a wonderful Seafood Lunch with my parents. The wine list was extensive and the flavours of the Seafood feast excellent, I would not hestitate to go back!

very pleasant dinner

We enjoyed an excellent dinner at this small restaurant. The menu offers many tempting choices. I really enjoyed my steak. wines are provided at reasonable prices and there is a good range to select from.

Goes from strength to strength!

Just a wonderful lunch today at one of my special go to places. A small room with a lovely ambience, brilliant menu (the croquettes, cassoulet and tarte tatin so yummy), impeccable service, great wines. Excellent value for money. Thank you for a special family lunch!

What a real find - small and intimate Bistro Plume French restaurant. One of our terrific cats footballers was also there with friends and family. Food was excellent as was the French bubbles and wine.
