Brisket was as good as I have had and the sauce is amazing! Parking lot was full and difficult to get out of. Sides of baked beans and mac and cheese were average.

I wish I'd read the reviews before making plans to meet a friend here for lunch on a weekday because I'd have known there is no restaurant seating (outside of the waiting area), but as it happened, we only learned this upon arrival. We were both pretty limited on time and decided to do a car picnic, but you'll want... More
Out of the way, but worth the drive. The smoked brisket is juicy, flavorful, and the best I have ever had. The owner is a hoot, and if I could spend the day there eating BBQ and chatting with the owner, I would. Go, you'll love it,
This carry-out joint is always busy. If you want to take meals back to the office or your hotel room, or wherever, call ahead. I had the large rib-tip (my favorite) dinner and it easily fed two or possibly three. The menu is limited but the taste is unlimited- don't plan on eating in your car. This food merits a... More
Great place to pick up some amazing BBQ. Brisket and corned beef are phenomenal. Friendly owners who offered up samples to try a few things even after the order was placed. Highly recommended. Keep in mind this is take out only with no seating available.
And it can be found here at Hank's. Watch for the sign next to the Dairy Queen or you will miss it. Be prepare for tight parking. Carry out only, no seating. But it does not matter where you are coming from, it is worth the trip. The wonder smell of wood smoked meats wraps you in a loving embrace... More
I'd been to Hank's several times and learned early to just get 1/2 lb. of meat. Hank was talking about his trips to Texas to get mesquite wood. He gave me a sample on the smoked corn beef and I was totally blown away! Absolutely delicious!. I got a half lb. of each. The next time I was in he... More
This is the best I have ever eaten. I had the Big Hank, WOW! but they give you samples and the corned beef, no words to describe.
Hank is a pro! I have NEVER had better smoked brisket. Putting this meat on any bread is a waste of calories in my opinion. Just eat the meat! (and this is coming from a bread lover). Every item smelled great and tasted even better. The beans were tops. You can't get sauce better than his. The really cool thing... More
Hank and his wife are always very personable/ laughing and having a great time while making and serving the best brisket in Indiana. My fiance and I love coming her to get a small slice of heaven.
