Although the food was OK--not great--we had the rudest waiter we have experienced in quite some time. He told us to "hurry with your order, I have others wanting to see me". Needless to say, his tip was below normal. As far as food is concerned, the fish crepe shown in the photo would have been good with some sauce.

This brew-pub in Broad Ripple has a nice little bar and dining room and in warmer months, outdoor dining. It brews its own beer while also providing a few other local craft options. The food is great and tends towards Belgian fare. The have a wonderful moules frite that can be ordered with a variety of preparations and the fries... More

Given all of the great reviews and comments, I really expected to like Brugge much more than I did. We only saw the street level dining room, but there is an upstairs area. They both a bar area and a family dining area, both have very limited seating. It felt very "pub-ish" with dark wood walls and an open ceiling.... More

3 years since last visit. Used to be good. Waiter was sloppy, all the beers were flat except the brown ipa, and the food was pedestrian. I felt somewhat embarrassed for talking up the restaurant with my family. To make matters worse, the bathroom was exhausted. I think I was the only male member of my party to smelled it.... More

Mussels in whatever scrumptious sauce you chose, washed down with a crafted on site beer, ahhhh. There's a fabulous duck sandwich with cherry confit, some lovely sausage and fresh house made crepes with Nutella. People at the communal round table have been fun.

It was ok. I'm not big on mussels but my family is which they enjoyed. Sausage sandwich was average. Fries were very good. I was disappointed in the craft beers. I ordered a sampler of three and could not drink two of them. IPA was the best of the three but only marginally. Good service.

Went with friends at their suggestion during a recent trip to Indianpolis. It is cozy and warm inside. Don't expect a fancy restaurant - this is real good belgian inspired food in a convivial casual setting. We sat in the restaurant side of the establishment, though there was plenty of seating in the bar too. We tried a variety of... More

I am a long-time customer who visits frequently when in Indianapolis with my family. We have spent hundreds of dollars at this restaurant. We specifically asked the hostess what time the restaurant would be open until tonight. We arrived a full thirty minutes prior to the closing of the kitchen. When we arrived, two employees casually said, "Hey, we're closed... More

My family loves to eat at Brugge. Since we have younger kids we usually try to go during the day and therefore rarely have trouble getting a table. Mussels are great -- Red Curry is our favorite. Crepes are fresh and delicious -- we rarely get a bite once the kids start in on them. Fries are amazing and we... More

We have dined at Brugge many times and it is always a treat. Our favorite time is late afternoon after biking when we stop in for beer (their tripel and pooka are both awesome!) and charcuterie. The mussels and steak frites are also good but a little on the heavy side for a late lunch/snack.
