I love the quality of sushi offered and the, authentic experience. They have a party room with a table, low to the ground with pillows in traditional, Japanese fashion. First time I walked by it, the room was full Japanese people. This place is authentic! There sushi happy hour has some great deals! The staff is friendly and hard working.... More

The only real Japanese sushi restaurant I've found in Indy. Not much to look at but excellent sushi. The happy hour is daily and a great deal.

Japanese-owned, small business with great service and a wide selection of authentic Japanese foods. Everything I have ever tried (in 4 visits in 4 months) has been delectable. This place gets very busy because it is so good. Reservations are recommended. They also have a half price Sushi happy hour from 5 to 7 most nights of the week.

We visited Asaka for the first time with an understanding that this is one of the few Japanese restaurants in the area that are more authentic than others. We were pleasantly surprised to see that there were a lot of Japanese people there. Many of the waitstaff were also from Japan, which is usually a good sign. We had a... More

When you enter the restaurant you can hear Japanese songs in te background, and Japanese - spoken by the staff, and by many Japanese guests. The service is excellent and the sushi I had is very good too,

The sushi was great and very fresh. It was a little bit of a wait to get seated due to it being small and popular but i did take out and i was there only about 10 min.

I had the ramen as the sushi were not available anymore that late in the evening. We were the last ones in the restaurant at 9pm. Food was good but not the best I've had. Still very authentic, which is the most important IMO.

The sushi was edible, certainly - and we ordered several rolls and nigiri to make sure, and the miso was great--BUT the service was slow and I had to constantly wave to get someone's attention, thus no refill on our pot of tea. The house salad was not good (way too much cabbage and the dressing was just a bitter-tasting... More

My wife wanted to try this place as we had read some good reviews and being lovers of Japanese food we thought we would give it a shot. The menu is good as it has a lot of options both cooked and sushi. The décor was such that it really reminded us of eating at some restaurant in Japan. The... More
