Indpls has some great neighborhood independent pubs. This is one of them wife's spinach quesadilla and my buffalo chicken salad were very good, as was the service.

Smees has a warm, welcoming, cozy feel to it. Plenty of regulars as you hear the waitresses greet them by name. This is our go to place for tenderloins. Hand pounded and breaded these are as good as it gets. Plenty of home made sides...More
We tried this place because istanbal cafe near it had closed and we didn't want to drive somewhere else. I has the breaded pork tenderloin and sweet potato fries, both were fantastic. My coworker enjoyed his salad as well. I will defineatly return.

Close to home and work. We visit often for a great meal, friendly service and laid back atmosphere. Love the Mary Lou salad! Great Buffalo chicken dip, so happy they brought it back! Must go for the non chain, family owned great experience.
What a waste of time. I have never been treated so badly. This place only looks out for 'who's. Who'. I was being waited on fine but as soon as a group of pharmaceutical executives walked in, no. That was the end of the good...More
Smees Place has been home base for the neighborhoods that surround it. It serves up tasty bar food in a very friendly setting.
