Went here for a Mother's Day brunch. I had heard about it, but, because it isn't open at dinner time, I never tried it. To celebrate the holiday, my daughter suggested it. I had a unique vegan lasagna dish. I'm not even vegan, but it sounded so good. It was delicious. I could never replicate it on my own...which is... More

My husband and I traveled from Wisconsin to Ohio for an event. We stopped in Indianapolis specifically to have lunch at Tulip Noir. We preplan our stops and look for local establishments that serve organic options. The service was spectacular and the food was divine. We had the vegan tacos and the cauliflower fritters. Both were unbelievably delicious. We're not... More

Loved this little restaurant. We had a lovely brunch here. French press coffee, nice variety of teas, terrific brunch and lunch choices. Good place for people who enjoy quality, fresh ingredients. It was a little crowded when we got there and we had to wait a bit. Our waitress gave us a complimentary peanut butter scone on the way out... More

Our first reaction when seeing the egg dishes all coming on a bed a greens and more root vegetables than you could shake a stick out was to move on. But then we decided that the experience would do us good. We often wondered if we would enjoy the foodie cooking we see on top chef, a chef's life, masterchef... More

I think Tulip Noir suffers from the "too cool for school" foodie syndrome of creating over the top menu items. They have complicated their breakfast dishes to an undesirable level. No wonder I was the only one there at 8:30am on a Saturday. Good luck!

My future SIL and I went here yesterday for breakfast. I had Sam's Benedict and it was done perfectly. The poached egg was perfect, the lemon hollandaise sauce was to die for and the roasted baby brussell sprouts and broccoli just set it above most other breakfasts. I highly recommend the smashed potatoes. SIL had Otto's omelette and said it... More

We visited Tulip Noir again over the summer as we tend to do once in a while special occasions. Its location and cost limit more frequent visits, so we always look forward to a planned escape to Noir. It feels a bit like a vacation break when we come here. The decor is really nice--crisp, clean, modern, with a European... More

We found this wonderful place by doing a google search for VEGAN and VEGGIE options. We were pleasantly surprised..nice small, diverse options and very clean! Our meals were excellent (Blueberry pancakes, roasted potatoes, French Toast and bacon) and we are legitimate members of the Clean Plate Club! I liked how the waitresses and owner conducted themselves. Very poised and professional.... More

Cute place and atmosphere for breakfast. Service, not so much... We did have a large group... 12-15 but all the food was served prior to getting silverware...oops! It was pricey but delicious! I had the Otto's Omelette and totally enjoyed it. I heard lots of buzz about the yummy "blueberry pancakeys" at the table. Everyone seemed to like the food... More

I feel good going in. I enjoy being there, the waitresses are gracious and lovely. The owner is wry and elegant. The food is interesting and varied. The teas are wonderful. After I've eaten at Tulip Noir I always feel as if I've done something good for myself. Not just enjoyable, but healthy and fresh. There are places around 86th... More
