My mother and I split a reuben sandwich and a bowl of tortilla soup to give us each more variety in our meal. Both were generous portions with tortilla chips and potato chips respectively and reasonably priced. This restaurant is small but has quite an extensive menu for lunch time fare. The friendly waitress offered to bring us some samples... More

Wonderful lunch stop at this cafe in a cute downtown. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly - I had a Cup of soup and a sandwich, but had to use all my willpower to resist the tasty looking baked goods.

Cute and quaint town. Felt wholesome and everyone was friendly. Searched for good lunch place and it popped up. Food good, yummy clam chowder. Nice break on long trip. A bit off the road (10 mi), worth it.

When shopping in Huntingburg, stop in for lunch or dessert at fat and sassy! Best chicken salad and the pies, cakes and cookies are a must have.

Needed a quick lunch after visiting the Lincoln Boyhood Memorial (which is great!) and stopped here. Pleasantly surprised. Much better than we expected. Soup was excellent and kids enjoyed their sandwiches. Would recommend it add a vinaigrette dressing for salads.

Wife and I stopped here for a late lunch on a Saturday, and was pleasantly surprised. We had looked up where to eat on 231 South of Jasper and saw the reviews on this joint, and boy they were right. The service was great and both of our sandwiches were really good. Need to order the Lemonade for sure it... More

Fat and Sassy is known for soup in a bread bowl, but I usually get the two-salad sampler plate to go! Their chunky chicken salad is a "must," and there are an interesting and ever-changing variety of other salads to try. Save room for Rosie's famous bread pudding!

This is my grandson's favorite place to eat! He always gets the "adult" grilled cheese and they bring him a free cookie when he finishes his meal--and he always does! Have been going here since they opened many years ago. They have delicious soup and sandwiches! Their chicken salad is the best!

Really good place to eat, good service, great food! Nice atmosphere right next to a kitchen shop. We eat there at least once a week. The sandwiches and soups are very good.
