Booked a table for last night. Very busy when we arrived and took 15 mins for us just to be acknowledged. When we said we had a reservation the 'waitress' disappeared without a word to return a few minutes later to say there was no...More

The bar area is relaxed, traditional and stylish, the bar is well stocked with good drinks and great service. This pub deserves to do well if they persevere with the current approach. Our only minor tip would be to put the lovely chandelier lights on...More

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
Any chance of getting back to the times when the pub sold it's own excellent home cooked pies?

I have no idea. Food was very pleasant. Was unaware they did their own home cooked pies!
Is all the food home cooked? Do you allow children and or well behaved dogs? Do you have free wifi?

All food is cooked on premises as far as I know. Plenty of dogs allowed. Wifi is on I think but I have not used it.
