The classic styling and flavors of an old fashioned soda fountain. Scoop up a scoop of some of the best flavors of ice cream around take those penny candies you remember from long ago. Customers are friends and treated like guests in your home. A must stop in Corydon

They have the best ice cream ever. I would recommend you stopping by in down town Corydon. You could also see Historic downtown Corydon while eating this wonderful ice ream.

We found this yummy soda fountain on Trip Advisor and visited after doing wine tastings at Turtle Run just a few miles away. The only problem with Emery's yummy ice cream, was that they have too many choices! Yum!

Visited Corydon and the caves. Happened upon this quaint, wonderful step back in time. Super I've cream, shakes and penny candy galore. Both inside and outside seating, great service. Small but packed with charm!

They sell everything here. The service was wonderful and SUPER friendly. Their were 5 in our group. We each got something different and it tasted wonderful. Would recommend this place to everybody who has a sweet tooth. It's perfect walking distance to the town square, after we got our treats, we walked around the grounds to see the history.

My family of 4 loved this place. The employee was super busy but never stopped talking to people and smiling. Someone even made mention of how busy he was and he just smiled and said, "it's always like this" The ice-cream was very good. My husband and I had the pumpkin pie ( so good), my 13 yr old had... We stumbled into this place because it was one of the few shops downtown open after 5. But what a treat! Is there an official name for ice-cream servers? This guy was like a bar-tender who loved telling stories while making up new cocktails, or like a barrista who knew just which aromas to blend. A yummy highlight of our... More

Rotating over a 100 flavors of hand dipped ice cream, Emery's Premium Ice Cream has been an American tradition since the 50's. Emery's began during the great depression as a family business, tucked away in a residential neighborhood of New Albany, Indiana. Kevin Paul, owner of Alvin's Enterprises' purchased the memorabilia and equipment from the original Emery's store and ... Has recreated the atmosphere of the old-fashioned ice cream shop. Visiting Emery's today evokes the feeling of traveling back in time to the era in which Emery's originated. And it should; not much has changed aside from its new location in Corydon, Indiana. The bar stools, counter, vintage posters art, and most importantly the ice cream bins and soda fountains are all from Emery's original location. You can enjoy the same favorite Emery's homemade flavors that were enjoyed years ago. Visit Emery's today and discover why it has been a favorite for over 60 years!
