After reading the reviews, we left the bike trail and rode an extra mile to find a good BBQ sandwich. Unfortunately, the location was empty. We were told that the owner had to close due to licensing issues. Instead we found Disaster Shack across the street. This place has been there only a short time, but also has another location... When the owner is doing the cooking, the food is well worth the trip to this little café. When the owner is there, the brisket is melt-in-your-mouth delicious! The baked potato is huge with all the fixings. The cole slaw is one of a kind. If the owner is not there, don't bother.

My husband and I have eaten at this restaurant twice. The prices are reasonable and nice portions. Our waitress has always been friendly and helpful. The barbecue is a dry spice rub instead of a liquid sauce like one would buy in a bottle at the grocery store. But it is still very tasty.

This place offers real slow smoked BBQ pork and brisket, just like it was met to be. I have eaten there many times and it was always delicious.

This small restaurant in a small town is big on down-home service and taste! We visit it often. Don't forget to try their breakfast!
