I've been coming to this coffee shop for years for good coffee, interesting music, and unique mismatched furniture. Recently, however, I've noticed that the space is not as tidy as it used to be. You will see hair and gunk here and there.

For me, it's diffcult to find delicious cake in Urbana-Champaign but cakes here make me keep coming back. My favourites are tiramitsu, potato cake and strawberry cheese cake.

I like this coffee shop because it's unique and not Starbucks. However, parking is extremely limited (by space and time, there's a time limit). And it's usually crowded with students. They have limited eats -- pastries but not much else. Coffee is fine and the staff is friendly.

I liked the bold flavor of the coffee. Nice atmosphere - large spaces, concrete floor, mismatched furniture, music. While the scone I got did not taste as if right out of the oven, it was decent. This is a great place for coffee.

Super chill atmosphere, lots of seating and cute sweets that always look so tasty. It can get loud when there are students who are talking too loud or don't understand how to use headphones... but most of the time there is a comfortable amount of noise for one to study to.

I ordered a half a lentil cous cous salad and 2 drinks and it came to over $12! Plus the salad was awful-- it was not seasoned at all-- carrots were old-- lentils undercooked.

The turn of the century music along with the natural lights provide a comfortable place to get some work done or catch up with some friends. The food and drinks are a little pricy, but the taste of the unique dishes makes up for the extra splurge.

This coffee shop is on the edge of campus and is much loved by students, faculty and local residents. It's in an old-ish building with high ceilings and an uneven tiled floor, which gives it a really nice atmosphere. We go there often to meet students or friends and it's very relaxed and unhurried---buy a drink of some sort and... More

We were visiting family in Urbana in July, 2012. For our last evening's meal we chose Cafe Paradiso, within walking distance from where we were staying. It's a small, cozy place and very comfortable. The server took our drink orders, and brought them promptly. We ordered the baked mussels for an appetizer, and they were delivered in a light tomato... More
