Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a great venue. The building is magnificent. It was once, a Golf Club and had the Country Club feel to it. The beer tasting was excellent as was the Whisky. I loved the Iron House Pale Ale. This is a great place to stop...by and visit on the way from Bicheno to St Helens. The staff were friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable Highly Recommended.More

Called in when driving past, excellent opportunity to sample, either Single malts, wines or beers. Staff were awesome, friendly and great product knowledge. I tried the wines (good value). Great set up, outlook and facilities. The dining room appeared very popular and reasonable charges

Stopped here on our way to St Helen’s, my husband had the beer tasting paddle and I sampled some wine. The view was spectacular as we sipped our beverages. They have accommodation on site and we noticed there was also parking for motor homes to...stay overnight as well.More

Stumbled across this brewery & restaurant on a drive down the Tasmanian east coast & what a find! Friendly staff, a range of beer, whisky, gin & wine to taste/buy, and a great restaurant. We stayed for lunch and enjoyed the food and views.

Stumbled across the place and stopped for lunch. It is a resort, vineyard, restaurant, brewery and distillery. It has million dollar views and is a beautiful modern building. You can watch the brewing but we chose o eat and stare at the views. The seafood...was fresh and very tasty and the flat Turkish bread very good. Also shared the Thai seafood Pattie’s which were tasty and well presented. The staff her were lovely.More

Excellent food and drinks. Bartender got the drinks wrong, but fix them up. A beer tasting pedal is the way to go to see which beer you like the best.

Have been a couple of times. Stopped for lunch and a drink on the way North. Chicken wings were amazing as were the Tacos. We probably could have shared the plate they were so big. But the food was so good I'm glad we didn't...:). I thought the drink k's were expensive. Ginger beer $10. Was a nice drop though.More

The staff in the brewery and restaurant were very friendly and knowledgeable. The sourdough bread, the wine and whisky tasting paddles were very good although the price of a full bottle of either wind or whisky was well outside our price range. The only real...downside of our visit was the weather. Pouring rain and wind made it impossible to check the outside areas.More

We camped here at short notice - what a surprise! Beautiful pristine beach, private walks - an outdoor swimming pool, great little restaurant, a bottle shop - a tasting cafe with snacks; incredible views; food onsite for lunch. Scamander just up the road ( 15...minutes) - just could not fault this place and I am a harsh critic! This was bliss - if you need a quiet break take it here. :)..oh and very friendly helpful people run this place :) P/S & I dont know them - honestly, just such nice people!More

Had a lunch booking but arrived early and had a swim in the resort pool. $5 each for a swim - not bad really as the pool is 25m long and quite wide so we cut a few laps before it got full of brats....So - off to lunch, and after all the good things I’ve heard I gotta tell you I was keen, but skeptical. Plenty of choices on the menu but the specials of the day had us hooked (crispy skin salmon /haloumi burger w chips) Whilst waiting for lunch to arrive we indulged in a glass of the local bubbly - delicious !! Lunch arrived without much delay, and it was simply fantastic. Looked great, generous serving, and so fresh and yummy. Overall - wait staff very friendly and knowledgeable, food was brilliant and really cheap for what it was (salmon $26 haloumi burger n chips $20) location is nice but nothing to get excited about, and the whole brewery experience including tasting is extremely good value. If you are staying in Bicheno or somewhere within a half hour drive, its worth making the effort to come for lunch and a tasting.More

Went off an original review which stated dog friendly. When a grey headed woman approached me and said can't you read, no dogs. I am happy to adhere to rules but no need to be rude. Spoilt a lovely day. Rest of staff were very...friendly & helpful.More
