On recommendation from a friend who has been holidaying in the area for years, we visited Holbert's oyster farm. I am a major oyster lover and without a doubt, they were the best I have ever eaten. The king prawns were also very tasty. I...brought some home at the end of our holiday, my daughter also said they were the best she had ever had. Highly recommend a visit.More

What can I say! I love oysters! For $19.90 for a dozen oysters it’s pretty cheap (though tassie was a lot cheaper). Also can buy prawns and alcohol with some seating outside. I was disappointed though it didn’t come with lemon which I found out...the hard way unfortunatelyMore

Absolutely DELICIOUS fresh oysters. Really enjoyed them. Would assume they would be a bit cheaper buying it directly from the farm — but having said that, they were so nice! They have a grassed area with tables and chairs overlooking the lake. Pretty area to...sit and enjoy the oystersMore

Visited this morning to pick up some up some lunch. We bought a dozen oysters(ready prepared kilpatrick) and half a kg of fresh cooked prawns. The oysters were large and juicy although we both found the sauce a bit sweet. The prawns were large, sweet...and the freshest I’ve ever tasted. There are tables outside with nice water views but we chose to take our fare home. Prices were quite reasonable- about half what you would expect to pay in a restaurant. Would thoroughly recommend.More

Fresh seafood you can take away or eat in the sunshine with a water view. Take a thermos and make it a picnic.

This place was the perfect spot for a lunch time date and drink with my partner. Over looking the water under an umbrella with beautiful fresh oysters and delicious prawns. Customer service was very kind and easy to chat too, definitely made the trip one...to remember. This place is definitely a slice of paradiseMore

OK, so we thought we'd get great tasting oysters at an oyster farm. Well weren't we wrong. Bland, is the word that comes to mind. Along with tasteless. Very disappointing. BTW, got some prawns while we were there. Same result. True story. No way we'd...bother again. No way.More

Oysters were great , good size and fresh. Could have put a wedge of lemon with it, had to buy a whole lemon and threw 3/4 away. Prawns were OK. Do have wine and beer but nothing else. My wife does not eat oysters so...had to sit and watch me eat. I know their business is Oysters but when they advertise tables and seating you would expect they would offer a bit more.More

Just love this place. The Oysters are so fresh and large. They have tables outside to consume your purchase and even have beer and wine to wash it down. There is a nice view of the bay from the tables. We came back here several...times and purchased some unopened ones to take home.More

I visited Holbert’s on basis of some TripAdvisor reviews. Agree, service is definitely not their thing! To had a doz oysters natural with slice of lemon, at $19.95. Also a dozen prawns at $34.90/kg and a corona at $7.50. So not exactly cheap. However, thought...should be fresh and tasty! Oysters were fresh enough, though not as sweet as merimbula south coast oysters. Prawns however were way too salty!More
