Went on a Friday night, outdoor queue around the corner of course. The gelato is really good, but in a Friday night when they’d expect a good crowd, there was very limited selection available. “They had runout” of basic flavours, so the selection was very...limited, and disappointing as we’d pre-browsed the menu. The gelato we COULD order was very nice, but there was less than one window of available flavours eg none of the basic cookies & cream, no mango, no lemon etc. I’d happily go to gelatissimo and be better satisfied. I do have to lastly point out that their pavlova flavour was awesome!More

Nothing stands out

Went there to taste the ice cream that was once deemed to be the best in the world. In all honesty, nothing stands out, everything is really typical, pricey, and the servings are small. Very crowded too ..

Great icecream

We lined up to order an amazing ice cream from cow and the moon. I had latte and it was beautiful. Would totally recommend.

Gelato and cakes

Cow & Moon is a good spot for gelato and cakes when you’re in Newtown. The service is friendly and welcoming. The gelatos have interesting flavours and are delicious, though the taste is more subtle, in comparison to other gelatos I’ve tried.

Delicious

On our last visit to Oz (4 years ago), this was on my list of places to visit but it was never on our path. This time we had the opportunity to try it out and were not disappointed. The choices of flavours were varied...and not the typical gelato flavours. I had a cherry, and pavlova. Definitely rate the pavlova flavour. Service was quite pleasant and friendly, gelato very good for oz. If we come down this way, we would definitely visit this place again 👍More

always delish!

My family and I go here every now and then and its never a bad experience. There is the occasional line to wait but its definitely worth it. Great portions and delish Ice cream!! Love it :)

Just Perfect All Round

In my opinion Cow and Moon serves the best gelato in Sydney. A big call I know but everything about Cow and Moon is just so right. Besides the amazing gelato here, they have great coffee, friendly and informative staff and a welcoming space. Oh,...and if there is a bit of a line up to get served this tells you something, that it is seriously good !More

Best gelato in Sydney There are one or 2 cult’ gelato chains in Sydney that serve good gelato. However - Cow and Moon - a stand alone artisan gelato store in the Inner West is out of this world. Worth the drive from the East....Amazing, cravable stuff.More

Best gelato in Sydney

Without a doubt the best gelato in town. Parking is a challenge and the lines can be long but this place is well worth the wait. In addition to the extensive and mouth watering gelato and sorbet selection, the affogato is a standout as are...the cakes. Outstanding: 82.3/100.More

Great place

We regularly get gelato from here after eating nearby. There are other gelato shops in the area but this is our favorite.

Yummy yummy

Tried a little something different.. ordered a hot chocolate with roasted coconut and cookies & cream, then dunked the ice cream in the hot choccie... BRUHHH so good!!! Thanks Eva for your service and dealing with my slightly bizarre request :)

Amazing icecream AND coffee !

Always come here for ice cream and its amazing but wanted to review there coffee ! My coffee and my partners were made to perfection. I had gotten breakfast down the road and didn't pick up any coffees so came here to grab some and...was surprisingly shocked ! One of the best coffees I have had in Sydney !More
