My husband and I tried Grand Duke's last night and were very impressed. Service was prompt and the food was to die for! We'd recommend the dumpling soup- so many dumplings 2 can share, then the breaded pork tenderloin with kugulies! So delicious! We will certainly be going back!

It was my first visit here - but it won't be my last! Despite the sheer volume of possibilities (the menu is many pages long), each of our dishes was meticulously hand made. My baked pike was as good as I have ever had! The vegetables atop it were a pleasant mix of tender, not over-cooked, slices of things like... More

Grand Dukes has an extensive Eastern European menu that goes on for pages. My husband enjoyed the duck with kugelis, and I had a terrific combo plate with Polish sausage, stuffed cabbage, and potato pancakes. Both dishes has a delicious sauerkraut on the side. Highly recommend the mushroom soup as a starter. Wide assortment of beers including several from Lithuania.... More

Excellent food and generous portions. If I didn't know better, I'd think I was in Vilnius. Definitely worth your time to try it out.

OMG can't rave enough about this little unknown gem. Very unassuming looking place. The grief I got from my Polish husband and his German/Polish friend all the way up there. How could I take them to a Polish/German restaurant - didn't I know NO one could compare to their grandma's cooking, OH would they eat their words later. Fabulous food.... More

We had a fantastic experience at this Lithuanian restaurant. It is definitely a hidden gem in the area! There is a healthy mix of classics and authentic European cuisine. We had the Grand Dukes Dumplings and the Malibu salad with salmon. Both were delicious and since we shared, they complimented each other well. The staff was extremely friendly and was... More

We stopped here on the way to a Chicago Fire soccer game. We left very full and satisfied. The waitress was wonderful at explaining dishes to us. Even though we all ended up with common American food we would like to go back and experience Authentic Lithuanian food. Our party ordered the Beef skillet, Cheese Crepes, Mushroom and Swiss burger,... More

Good and plenty is how I would describe the food at Dukes. The food is definitely authentic and so is the atmosphere. Once you step inside, you are transformed back into medieval times, somewhere far away. Perhaps a grand old duke's castle? The restaurant offers many unique and delicious dishes, that will satisfy a foodie or a hungry man in... More
