Very disappointing. Meals came out on PLASTIC plates!! Small portions and it was pretty average. My meal came out 10 minutes before other main! The worst part is.... we finished our mains and asked to see a desert menu to be told the Kitchen had closed and no Deserts would be served!!! Absolutely ridiculous. We weren't even made aware the... Been here a few times in the last couple of months and the food has really improved since we came in a year or so ago. Excellent service and cosy pub.

This could be a great pub. It has a fabulous beer garden and views, great on warm days and has a nice fire going in winter. However can only give low rating and have given up on this place. The food and some staff have let it down. The menu is very basic/tasteless, occasionally there will be the odd special... More

We did the brewery tour last night and met at the Vale Inn which is the same owners as the brewery. What a great pub with great staff and great food. To top it all the beer was good as well. Well done guys.

Fantastic pub, dog friendly. Huge selection of crafted ales. Recently refurbished outside beer garden that backs onto Bollington Rec. Great local pub!

Went on the brewery tour and then meal. The meal was pie and chips but very tasty and properly done. Hand cut chips. Sticky toffee pudding to follow. All straightforwardly basic. Highlight must be the beer itself which is excellent. Surroundings inside the pub are single roman hard floor - quite retro! But it is comfortable enough and quite cosy.

First rate. Simple food, good local beers. The prices are most reasonable, too. Beers brewed locally. It would be good to have a old fashioned mild sleep, though.

It's not some ghastly gastro pub, but an honest, modern alehouse serving first rate food, some British (Gammon egg and chips - yum) and some international (curries, chillis). Pleasant atmosphere. Good local beers (where's the mild ale, guys) and overall most reasonable prices.
