I don't know if it was an off night or is a statement of restaurants in the area, but none of 5 of our entrees were prepared to an edible standard. Onion ring appetizers were burnt. Can't believe they even brought them out. 2 Burgers were brought out rare. Not ordered that way. Onion rings with meals were burnt with... More

Skip this place, food was not good at all. The fries tasted like the grease was weeks old. The place felt dirty and had a musty smell.

From the food, to the staff to the charming building, everything was great. Within walking distance from our hotel made the seasonally warm night a great choice to have dinner.

I go here often, mostly with my wife, but also with a group of senior gentlemen who get together periodically. My favorite is the Arkham Stout (yes, named for Lovecraft's fictional city) and the suasage sampler platter. The sausage comes from a local producer and it's really delicious. I've had many other dishes, too, and the taste and quality of... More

Ordered a Rueben sandwich & onion rings & both came out burnt. Sent it back & ordered chili in a bread bowl. Tasted like it just came out of a Hormel can. Bread bowl was stale as well. Hardly anyone was there for lunch & I can see why. Worst meal I had a long time.

I'm in the area for business and honestly stopped here because I couldn't decide where to get dinner and I liked their name the best so I just went with it. I was not disappointed! I sat at the bar and received service from two different gentlemen, both of whom were very pleasant and provided excellent service. I tried the... More

I like be the Jalapeño Cornbread Catfish and the Wigged Pig Wheat beer. My wife loved the salmon that is no longer on the menu. I win, she not so much... She said the ribeye was rather bland.

I have had both good and bad experiences with this restaurant. If you don't have any other plans after, it is worth taking the chance on timing. Was there for a small group & they knew we had plans after when the reservation was made. There were problems with the food due to a new menu, and we barely got... More

The menu has changed quite a bit since the last time I visited, but it was equally delicious. The lunch special was a chicken and sour cream mixture baked inside croissant dough- amazing! I saved myself from my choice by having a salad with it, and it was fresh and yummy. A perfect lunch.

This brewery was the best find on our recent trip to Iowa City. Felt right at home from the moment we walked in... The staff (Shout out to Dave!!) was awesome and we appreciated the story the décor told about this brewery! When we asked for a flight Dave took out a menu and started pouring all 6 brews they...
