Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed at the hotel across the street, which doesn't offer a complimentary breakfast and since we were planning on a big lunch, decided coffee, muffins, scones would be plenty. My daughter had a delicious mug of hot chocolate and my husband had a house...made chocolate milk. I was unsure what to order, since I was looking for a sugar free, low fat latte'. The barrista fixed me right up! The muffins and scones didn't appear to have been house made, but they were an adequate start to the day. Lots of locals enjoying coffee and conversation.More

Stopped for lunch one day. The club sandwiches and grilled cheese were excellent. We had pastry for dessert. People kept streaming in for coffee and snacks and they all wanted soy milk! I’ll have to try it.

Super service. Very friendly barista. They have a nice pastry selection- muffins, cookies, bagels— and the cold chai latte he made was very good. Location is right next to the holiday inn. Hours begin at 7 am.

This place is a wonderful little gem. Feels like I'm stepping back in time (in a good way) with their decor. It's a vintage coffee shop with excellent breakfast food!

Friendly and fast. My drink was prepared well, and not with all the foofiness off other coffee shops. No nonsense. And great local ambiance!

Both the drinks in the title were awesome. My kiddo said the drink was her favorite I'm any coffeehouse. The barista said the chai is house blended. Really good tasting. The staff are kind and educated regarding questions. Their banter behind the counter is fun...to hearMore

Stopped here for bagels and cream cheese each morning during our week-long visit. Nice to catch up on emails (they have wifi), drink a latte, and relax in an old time coffee house. They have a sign reading, "Friends Don't Let Friends Drink Coffee at...Starbucks!"More

Quaint coffee shop with much more to offer. Home made soups and sandwiches. We like the Rueben on rye. The soups are made daily with a different kind each day. The coffees and teas are good. Service is excellent. Friendly and quick with the food....Wifi is also available. We stop in for either coffees or lunch when we are nearby.More

Stopped in for a cup of coffee and a muffin. The muffin was fresh, warm and delicious. The coffee is always great and service is always friendly. Nice place to meet up and chat with a friend. Also a great place to stop while enjoying...the river walkway. Not far out of the way at all and worth the couple blocks in to the district off the bike path.More
