Pasta was perfectly al dente. Service was great. Best gelato I've had outside of Florence, Italy. We will definitely go back.

This restaurant has a menu not like any restaurant in the area. The pasta dishes are very good. The paninis are tasty. You order at a counter but the food is brought to you which is different but works. I haven't tried everything yet but if you are feeling adventurous, I recommend this restaurant.

Ok in a pinch, nothing special; feel like the pizza's are skimpy; roast beef sandwiches good. Atmosphere, so so. Noisy.

Went for lunch on a Sat at noon not busy at all. Ordered the Americano Panini combo which was... Fresh sliced ham, bacon, american cheese, lettuce, onion, tomato and dijon mayonnaise with fries and a drink. Received quickly but it just wasn't that great the meat was in the center of the sandwich and I couldn't even taste the dijon... More

The menu selection is wonderful. Their gelato is out of this world. Every time we stop in I am never disappointed, between the food and friendly service. Our favorite is always their pizzas, truly authentic to what we had in Europe.

Nice family atmosphere! Friendly staff, helpful. This is going to the counter and order, but a nice Young girl waited on us. Reasonable pricing and clean. RRR

All the food is amazing, but their pizza is the best! It is the only place we have found to have pizza just like we had in Europe. The gelato is homemade and delicious, and my favorite waitress is Jackie. You get greeted with such a big smile and she is always so very helpful with suggestions. You won't be... More

I love their Italian beef with sausage. It really good and they have some of the best fries I've ever had. They are quick to serve your food. Make sure you save room for some gelato after your meal!

Description
From gelato, to panini caprese, to sweet potato fries, to wine and more, the owners turned this old Hardees into a trendy, fun, but casual restaurant. Good quality food makes for an enjoyable meal in a nice atmosphere. Their phone number is 815-419-3011. Located about 1.5 miles east of Interstate 55 at Pontiac, exit 197. Worth the stop!
