I have visited this establishment a few times. They have removed a couple of sandwiches and you can't get salads. (Surprising) The fried chicken still is very good and juicy. I ordered the hot and spicy but next time I will stick with the original chicken. The jalapeno cornbread is good. I prefer the little loaf they use to come... More

We visited this restaurant for a St. Patrick's Day lunch. There is a new menu which offers many good sandwiches, appetizers, and specials. Our party of six ordered the corned beef sandwich on rye with fries, the brisket sandwich, the cheese quesadilla, the open face roast beef sandwich, and the broasted chicken dinner. The food was served hot and within... More

BE WARNED ABSOLUTELY NO SUBSTITUTIONS PER MANAGEMENT. You can have potatos (fries) or potatos (chips) with your sandwich. Unwilling to accommodate anything else unless you pay a premium for it. Not customer friendly in my opinion.

The sandwich was really good. They have a smoker which one can smell walking up (delicious) and the food tastes like they know how to use it. The service while friendly was slow. Like a glacier moving slow. It wasn't busy. The two ladies were just really interested in their conversation with each other and whatever they were looking at... More

It's not a place to go for lunch when you only have 1/2 hour. The place is small, but was packed. The tables are way too large for such a small place. On a positive note, the food was great! I ordered the brisket sandwich and loved the bbq sauce. There were a lot of things on the menu I... More

My wife and I decided to eat out on a Friday evening since the kids were doing their own things. After a large debate we decided to dine at FCB. It was not busy at all for a Friday and we were seated right away. I see they have added gambling machines which in my opinion just cheapens the place.... More

So I finally tried one of their sandwiches, which I judged must be good simply by virtue of their pricing. A Rueben and fries for $12.15? Well, at least I know its gotta be good for that price. Except that it wasn't. The marbled rye was not grilled at all, and the pastrami was so salty that I could barely... More

From the outside, I would have thought this place was an order-at-the-counter eatery. We went for an early lunch on a Monday recently. Found the place kind of neat inside with murals of big city scenes on the walls. They also have a bar with a small, but decent draft beer selection. We had the bbq pulled pork and a... More

it is on the corner of Glen and Sheridan. It is a really nice place,I like going there for BBQ. Friendly staff always. They are open all the time. Extra parking spaces are in the back.

I have happily reviewed this restaurant before and I am very happy to do so again. Restaurants come and go in every city ... sure hope this one stays ... If you like great walleye (truly the best and ALL YOU CAN EAT) and enjoy a glass of wine at half price, then Friday nights here should be on your... More
