This restaurant is across the street from Lutheran General Hospital. So after a Dr.'s visit we stopped here for lunch. We shared a chopped salad. I almost always order this salad. It comes with crunchy bread.

I love the Italian beef sandwiches here. The fries are also great. I always make sure I stop here at least once when visiting Chicago.

Amazed by how quickly they process drive through orders - food has always been good especially the chopped salad & chocolate cake...lines may be long but the wait typically isn't...

The Italian Beef sandwich is fantastic... great with or without peppers! The Grilled Italian Sausage is a second favorite! They also have salads and pastas. There's always something for everyone!!

Locals all know. Visitors, you haven't experienced Chicago unless you've had a wet dipped Italian beef from portillo's, I like it with hot peppers. Then finish things off with a chocolate cake shake! The best..

Portillo's has the best Italian Beef in Chicago. Make sure you get a cheese fries with it as well, you will not be disappointed. I get the big Beef every time. You can't change perfection!!

Great salads, my favorite the "garbage salad", my wife's the chopped salad. Fast food of consistent quality...love their beef/sausage combo. Only thing I don't like us that they charge extra for peppers, sweet or hot. On the other side love their pasta, but I'd pass on the ribs--too soft for my liking, as they fall off the bone.

If you love Italian Beef this is the place for you. I have been to many Beef restaurants over the years. Some of them may have been better than Portillo's at times. The one thing the others can't match is the concistancy of the beef. It is the same every time no matter which one of thier restaurants you go... More

Met my wife and s friend there for a quick lunch. I wasn't in the mood for a dog so opted for a Polish. Good charred flavor. I just think it's a rip of to charge what they do for a polish them want more for a pepper. The roll was God & soft too. All & All the meal... More

Food is always great. The only complaint, and the reason for only four stars, is the waiting time in the drive through line. Sometimes, they should call it the parking line😀! Can bea nightmare waiting to order and then waiting to get your food.
