My husband I frequent this restaurant. The atmosphere reminds you of an elegant 50s type dinner club! We love the Chop House bar menu! The food is excellent and you have a variety of choices off the menu! The prices are very reasonable off the bar menu as well as reasonably priced drinks. The restaurant is pricier but well worth... We planned a date night at Bass Street and it didn't disappoint. We arrived a bit early for our reservation and they were able to accommodate us. The coat check is a nice touch. It was half price wine night so my wife ordered a bottle for herself and she was quite pleased with it. They also re-corked it and... More

Went on a business dinner with 60 people. Absolutely amazing service. Everyone's steak was cooked perfectly.

The food was very good, but very expensive. My wife had an appetizer and I had a salmon dinner. We each had 3 drinks. Total was over $118. 00 before tip. The sides were very expensive. You would think you were in downtown Chicago at these prices. Probably won't be back there. Limited menu. My salmon came with walnuts on... More

We went to a concert at the iWireless Center and the restaurant was located perfectly within walking distance. The service was great and quick, our waiter was very accommodating to our timeline. The lobster chowder was delicious and so were the portobello fries. I was a bit disappointed in the steak Caesar salad, it was just ordinary.

We had an outstanding meal. My husband had the 12 oz. smoked rib eye, cooked to perfection and loved it! Mashed potatoes & Brussel Sprouts were delish! I had the open faced meatloaf sandwich. So much food we had to take home leftovers. All the food was wonderful, The atmosphere was very romantic in our booth. Our waiter John was... More

Excellent wine list and normally 1/2 price bottles on Fridays except for holidays and December (check because this might change). I like to get the $150+ bottles in order to access a great wine at a reasonable price, but double check with the server because some of the high end wines "don't qualify" or "Might be available" for the half... We went on a Saturday night with another couple. The check in was good and they took our coats, which was good because there was not really room at the table. The food was really good. Two had fish and one had Delmonico ribeye and I had the prime rib. We ordered two sides, the blue cheese potatoes which were... More

Dinner with a group of 15. Very good service. Only downside was the lobster corn chowder. Strictly average. Our food was well prepared and the sides are great. Mac and cheese and creamed corn are both really good. We had steaks and seafood. All good. Desserts were very good to, Cheesecake and creme brulee are a couple winners. A don't... More

I stopped by Bass Street Chop House on a Tuesday night; as expected, it was not very crowded. There is a large, free parking lot across the street. It is close to the interstate. I had somewhat of an odd meal because I had a large snack, and I ate at the bar. There is a long, single row bar,... More
