Was stoping by to have a tea with desert, after 1.5 walk through the park. Good place with character, smartly divided into two areas, with sofas and classic restaurant. There are multiple menus, lunch one, day and kids. For a forest restaurant you will be really surprised with the chief creativity. Ideal for large companies and family. Do not hesitate... More

Attended a family wedding on New Years Eve. Room was beautifully decorated really pretty for a wedding. The setting overall is just lovely beside the waterfall. Food was well presented and well cooked. Struggled to finish my desert but was reluctant to leave it! Staff were lovely, very attentive. Some lovely pictures taken outside near waterfall even though it was... More

We visited here as part of a christening celebration with more than 30 guests in attendance. I dont normally eat out a lot but I must say the food and the service provided were second to none. Congratulations to Gary and Monica for their excellent attention to detail. I would have no problems recommending the Laragh Lodge to anyone.

We found Laragh after walking about 10 miles. We were famished and thirsty. The pub area has great sofas to lounge on whilst sipping some pints. We move to a table for out late afternoon lunch. The bangers and mash we humongous!! Friend had an enormous burger and wife had delicious shepherd's pie. Alex made us feel like locals. Our... More

Room was cold and lacking any atmosphere. Food was very average. Soup tasted shop bought and was most unappetising. We would not go back.

Chosen by one of the group as their favourite place to eat. Absolutely lovely dinner - steak stood out as very very good - meat locally sourced and cooked to perfection. Will definitely be back - cannot recommend highly enough,

My husband and I stopped here for lunch while up the coast for our wedding anniversary. I opted for the steak sandwich, my husband had the seafood chowder and we had a portion of sweet chilli and sour cream fries between us. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The steak with my steak sandwich was a full sized sirloin cooked... More
