Our boy scout troop got a cake from them for their court of honor and the cake was delicious. I have also had some pastries from there in the past. Looks like it's time to go back and visit them again.

I truly enjoy very special visits here to pick up at least 2-3 of these extremely tasty cookies! These cookies have saved me from getting a package of Chip Ahoy cookies whereby I would have eaten one sleeve of Chip Ahoy cookies within a day.

My wife's family is from the East side of Chicago, and most moved to the Lansing area about 20 years ago. A tradition they had on the East side, and expanded once they moved into the Lansing area was to get cakes and coffee cakes from the Calumet Bakery for Holidays and Birthdays. What a wonderful tradition! The baked goods... More

Satisfy your sweet cravings at the Calumet Bakery where the wide array of cakes, doughnuts, cookies, fritters etc. are the best you will have tasted. We have ordered cakes on special occasions and have always been more than satisfied with the softness and flavour. Therefore we don't mind the 45 min. drive just to satisfy our sweet tooth. The coffee... More

Love everything about the bakery. The baked goods are the best, and so is their coffee. Highly recommended.

Having a big sweet tooth, we specially visited the Calumet bakery on our way from New Buffalo to Chicago and were so glad we went out of our way - what an array of delicious cakes, pastries, pies, doughnuts, cookies etc. -- very difficult to choose. So we ordered the Tres Leches, carrot cake and chocolate doughnut. They were all... More

I visit this bakery about every other month. I've tried their coffee cakes, cookies, donuts and fritters. They are all delicious. I live in a far southwest suburb of Chicago and there are few decent bakeries, and no great bakeries around me. I stumbled upon this bakery after a dr. apptmt and now I'll drive 45 minutes to get some... More
