Gerhard’s was recommended where we go to order our wedding cake at 9AM...we were getting married at 2PM. At 1:45PM, the hotel staff picked up our cake and it was perfect in every way. Simple and delicious. Thank you Gerhard!

Items are overpriced, miss Market Square Bakery where there were traditional coffee cakes, doughnuts, rolls and regular cakes and all was reasonably priced. Unless you need overpriced, small items, I suggest Jewel, Heinens or Mariano’s.

A few tables to sit and enjoy a pastry and cup of coffee, but this is mostly a great bakery. Amazing cakes for special occasions

I just went to pick up some of their delicious desserts to go. Never been unhappy with anything I've purchased there. Always delicious!

Get there early for fresh cakes, pies, and goodies. Very good but very expensive. I've been there several times looking for a "special" dessert, which they have if you go early. They sell out fast.

The best birthday cake ever. Rich and light all at the same time. I'm a chocolate lover and this is my favorite cake.

This is the best bakery in Chicago. Opera cake was great. Same as the one in France. Highly recommend it for special occasions. I order the cake for my husbands birthday. Small portions, great quality, expensive.
