Went here for a birthday dinner, just 4 of us. Lovely decor (but Eames chairs are not comfortable for dining) and seated at a table that was not loud, which was nice. While the wait staff was pleasant, they did a terrible job of coming...More

After deferring to sit at a table near the kitchen, we were seated in a noisy room with a nice view of the street. Conversation was difficult until the room was half empty. Service was pleasant but our server must have had a hard decade...More

Had their sandwich while at the pub next door. Fantastic flavor and extremely tender. They gave me enough fries for two people but otherwise it was fantastic.

We went here for dinner and enjoyed the quaint, little downtown location. Food was decent and we liked the variety of seasonal options. A bit on the pricey side, but we will definitely be back to try other menu items.

Their Butternut Squash Bisque was a perfectly prepared soup which I paired with the Amish Chicken, a fine taste treat. The next time I'll try the Gnocchi Pomodoro.

Simple food with hints of pretentious ingredients. Expertly prepared and presented. Delicious. Simply put this is fancy bar food at twice the pub price. Good food, expensive.

Came here on a Saturday Night. Maevery is located in Downtown Lake Bluff. For a Saturday evening we had no trouble finding parking. We were seated promptly. I do recommend making reservations. For cocktails we had the Black Berry Bourbon Smash which was a refreshing...More

The Maevery Public House offers an eclectic menu of delicious American comfort food. We had their amazing kale salad as a starter, Amish chicken with roasted vegetables, and a great salmon entree with roasted potatoes. They have a solid wine list. The service is excellent...More
