Yesterday we went there for dinner. Beautiful ambience, tasteful decor, excellent service and awesome food. Our server was quite knowledgeable and helped us order based on our preferences. For drinks I had signature Kama retro. I enjoyed every sip of it. Food was flavorful and authentic. We also tried famous vindalo Kama Kaze. Oh my god I can't explain my... More

Tasty fusion style Indian food in a suburban setting is hard to find. You do not have to go to downtown Chicago to enjoy transformed traditional Indian food at Kama Bistro. The atmosphere is cozy, warm and welcoming. The service is superior. The servers are very attentive but not intrusive. We felt very comfortable and took our time enjoying each... More

This was the second time that I dined at Kama Bistro. Food was still great, but one of the apps that we ordered (an up-sell) was just okay. We couldn't figure out who was serving us though since we started off with a waitress before the manager/owner took over with various waitstaff bringing out our food. We wouldn't have minded... We've now been here twice. The food was exceptional both times! Samosas, vindaloo, tikka masala were all delicious but I'm a sucker for the sides. Aloo gobi and eggplant were outstanding. The staff is warm and welcoming. I do suggest you make a reservation on Friday and Saturday nights as it can get quite busy! Takeout business also seemed to... More

This is the reason I like using trip advisor. Without it I wouldn't of had the enjoyment of eating 2 great meals on my recent visit to the area. All I need to say is Greta food, brilliant staff and value for money.

Indian fusion is a winner. Bold flavors balanced with lighter techniques create a cuisine that is modern and fresh. Great beer and wine selection. Seafood is wonderful

Since the portions are more than adequate for lunch can have the terrific dining experience and all the ambiance at a really reasonable price. Food is... More

My family and I have been coming here since it opened around the corner from where it now is. Never have had a bad meal. The chicken achari is probably my favorite item on the menu. The lemon tadka is also something we can't seem to go without. I've never had the nerve to order the "Kamikaze" vindaloo. Service is... More

I've eaten here a few times and the food is just average while the prices are really high compared to what you get. I've eaten at a lot of better Indian food places that had a lot better food and cheaper prices.

We had a great experience! We had chicken tikka, lamb rogan josh, garlic and regular naan. The rice (extra long grained basmati) is a great example of their philosophy...use great products and treat them with respect. The music playing was a great enhancement to the experience. You'll be very happy with this choice.

Description
Kama Bistro is named after the Indian cupid, the god of love and passion, symbolizing the aesthetic pleasure of the senses. Indulge your senses and experience the passion Kama brings to its food and service. This is not your ordinary Indian food. Kama Bistro’s menu puts an emphasis on fresh, high quality ingredients. Freshly ground spices go into sauces made from scratch every day. Homemade paneer (cottage cheese), all-natural chicken and prime domestic lamb make for superior protein. Everything is prepared to order to ensure its quality. The menu is rounded out with innovative cocktails, diverse wine and a select microbrew list to accompany your food. The martinis, including mango, cinnamon pleasure, pineapple and cucumber chili, are always made from fresh fruit purees and homemade syrups, all-natural and a perfect balance to spicy food.
