Good Italian food in a lovely setting. Best bolognese sauce I've had. Discreet, prompt, courteous service.

This is a good, solid Italian restaurant with a number of pasta and meat and fish choices. All of our group of 8 enjoyed our dishes.

Wonderful restaurant in the far south burbs. Great atmosphere with many window seatings; nicely presented food that is delicious; friendly bartenders and wait staff; lots of choices for dinner and love the specials; rooms for large group parties.

Had a pasta dish for dinner, they offered nice specials of the day also. Food was good and reasonably priced my husband had perch, which is usually only served on Fridays, but was able to have made for him on Saturday evening

I've been to this restaurant on several occasions. For lunch, dinner and for a wedding and baby shower. Each time, the atmosphere, food, wait staff and availability of the rooms available has been very accommodating.

Balagio is my family's go-to spot for fine Italian for many reasons. 1- the food is simply fantastic 2- family friends work at the restaurant 3- the service and atmosphere is great. I highly recommend trying their gnocchi or cavatelli pasta, though everything on the menu is equally delicious. Love this restaurant.

Immediately, we were served water and bread was brought to our table, Marci inquired if we would like to order drinks..hubby had a martini.$6.50...I stuck with just water. We both had... More

A nice, neighborhood casual restaurant/bar. I would suggest requesting a table by the windows away from the bar for better opportunity for conversation. Also, earlier is less crowded and, therefore, there is less noise. The service was very attentive and friendly. The martini was perfectly mixed, the wine list more than adequate and the extensive menu offers a good variety... More

The food was outstanding. The portions were enough for a meal the next day. The prices are very reasonable. The service was excellent. I just can't say enough. A great dining experience.
