Tried this while passing through on a trip. I had the fish tacos, which were very good and presented nicely. They (2) were in very moist corn tortillas with fresh toppings and fairly spicy chipotle type sauce. They came with rice pilaf. I would order them again. My husband had the porterhouse. He said it was a 7-8/10. The porterhouse... More

We were shopping at the Arboretum Shopping Center and went across the road to the Claim Jumper, which we had enjoyed a while back. My wife said lets go again for lunch to Claim Jumpers. So, we did, and again the food was excellent. The service was excellent. And all in all, we had a great meal and kept saying,... More

When I am on business trips to Lombard I often take my associates to the Claim Jumper for lunch. It can be a little expensive for a mid-day meal, but the quality is worth it and there is something for everyone. They have a lot of great vegetarian options and since some of my co-workers are vegetarians that is always... More

Typical chain franchise. Slow service and not a busy evening. Widow Maker Burger was huge and pretty good. Grilled Cobb Sandwich was average...nothing special. Black Tie Chicken Pasta was average as well. I think I make a better one at home. Jambalaya Pasta was good and had a spicy kick. Chicken Pot Pie was good but did not standout from... More

The food was great and the service was excellent. There was an hour wait for a table which was play as we saddled up to the bar for drinks and an appitizer.

I work down the street from Claim Jumper's and have been going here for lunch for years. Always great food and great service. Recently I decided to take my wife for dinner and it was just as good! A great variety of food and great service. We recently discovered their Sunday brunch as well. What a great find! A great... More

I have tried The Claim Jumper twice in the last two months and both times it was amazing! I had the coconut shrimp with roasted veggies and chicken tortilla soup.

I was one of a party four who went to Claim Jumpers Friday at 6 for drinks and dinner. The place always had a good reputation for lots of tasty food for a reasonable price, but I hadn't gone there for about two years. We had drinks first, and my Makers Mark and Club Soda was weak. Further, when my... More

Claim Jumper in Hoffman Estates is an excellent restaurant in a sea of very average ones. The atmosphere is open and impressive, the food is outstanding and the desserts are the best. Wait times are brief. The tables are very spacious. We have eaten here since it opened and will continue to come back.
