Down a long and winding. Path into a 5 star resort. Past reception, you arrive at a set of stairs......up above is delightful, right on the beach. A beautiful restaurant awaits. The food is delicious , service is good. What's so unexpected is the price....Great food good service in a 5 star resort at a reasonable price. Restaurants nearby are charging double for half the quality.More

I came here when I was strolling down Keramas and tempted by this gem. It’s safe to say that apparently I was lucky to be able to experience their “Merah Putih” dinner on August 16th. It’s a collaboration with Locavore (Ubud’s top restaurant) and prepared...by Chef Eelke Plasmeijer and Chef Ray Adriansyah, my favorite chefs from Locavore made everything so fantastic. Foods were amazing, luscious cocktails and the event was located in Timur Kitchen which surrounded by dramatic ocean views. This was one of a kind experience and I’ll definitely go back to Timur Kitchen. Good job!More

Timur Kitchen at Komaneka gives a sense of local flavors with wonderful food in a restaurant overlooking beautiful beachfront and rustic padi field views. The lunch today was a great selection of local and international food by chef Dewa – mouthwatering dishes beautifully prepared and...presented. A great place for gatherings with family and friends, kid friendly with an attentive and caring staff! I highly recommend this place to those looking to relax in a quiet friendly atmosphere away from the usual holiday crowds. Komaneka is located in a serene combination of rustic and seashore surroundings at Keramas Beach and has over 30 private villas each with Ocean views and individual pools. Villas are interconnected by elevated walkways above the padi fields for minimal intrusion on the natural surroundings. If you are seeking a place to stay in quiet luxury, dine on superb local and international cuisine, surf in world class waves, then Komaneka at Keramas Beach with the restaurant Timur Kitchen is the place for you.More

I was fortunate to be able to experience one of the most finely curated dinner events at Timur Kitchen. The food was so lavish and represented the culinary journey of Indonesia diversity, so flavorful, so delicious. Discovered that the Chefs who cooked and grilled the...food is 50 Best Chefs in Asia ( Chef Eelke Plasmeijer and Chef Ardiansyah ). That justified !. The crowds who came for dinner were stylish, you could tell from their chic resort wear and the refined behaviours and engagements. The event started with some artisan bites and crafted cocktails, guest were mingling around and the backdrop of the ocean from Timur Kitchen is naturally stunning. Timur Kitchen, the restaurant itself is so beautiful in architecture and you could feel the beautiful pieces of rare arts and crafts and the immense size of the area , despite the many number of guests who came to this dinner event, you hardly feel crowded at all. The Food and Beverage team were so stylishly dressed with safety see through face mask ( so you could see their smiles ) and they were very attentive. The dining tables were beautifully set up complemented the food and the ambience of Timur Kitchen. This was a truly Journey To The East experience ! Highly recommended Timur Kitchen.More

The arrival at Timur kitchen is very nice; the way meanders thru rice paddies, farmers are working at the fields and in the distance, you hear the sound of the waves at the beach where Timur Kitchen is situated. The reception is very friendly, the...atmosphere relaxed and the architecture is a great sample of old and new artfully mixed. The food experience at the Timur Kitchen is different and I think they have a problem to find the right cooks. For a 5 star restaurant with five-star prices it is NOT acceptable to receive a starter with a ketchup/mayonnaise sauce like you are served in any better Warung nowadays. It is NOT acceptable to get served mandarins in the tough, chewy skin they have in a starter salad, and it is not acceptable to get NO pomelo in an octopus/pomelo salad (they did not put this on my invoice later). Two of the main desserts have not been available this day. The waitresses are very young and friendly BUD have no experience working in a five-star hotel and have to ask back for every single question a guest have. The pictures and menu on the homepage are also outdated so it is difficult to face reality when you receive your meals. When we wanted to leave the Timur Kitchen it took the hotel driver a full 15 minutes to bring our car to the reception (for some reason they parked it elsewhere?). We don’t know why it took so long because the hotel parking area is just 200 meters away. For a five star experience this is far too long and just shows that there might be a systemic problem at Timur Kitchen. I really hope that Timur Kitchen can work on these details and come back to the fine dining experience it was just a few months ago. The restaurant as a venue is great, the view out to the black sand beach is stunning, and the tranquility at this location makes one really want to indulge in a fine gastronomic experience.More

We had dinner here and based on service and quality of the hotel we had high expectations. Unfortunately the service and the food were disappointing. Asked for Bombay Saphire Gin (on the menu), they only had Gordon’s. Asked for large bottle of water, they only...had small. We weren’t offered a wine list and had to ask when the starters arrived, so wine didn’t come until we had already started our main course. Food was lukewarm but we didn’t complain about it as we didn’t want to have to wait longer. Presentation could have been a lot better too. Shame as the hotel is excellent, the setting is lovely and the restaurant could be amazing. Was our last night in Bali so we were disappointed.More

I had the pleasure of having breakfast at Timur Kitchen during my recent stay in Keramas. The restaurant is located right on the beach however has sliding doors that can close if the wind is too strong. The food is delicious and the staff and...hospitality shown are excellent with a particular mention of my host Rudi who looked after me extremely well and made me feel welcome and comfortable. A little more expensive than local restaurants/warungs and it must be acknowledged the restaurant is located at very nice hotel Komeneka (I was a casual guest staying in Keramas village). I enjoyed the facilities after my breakfast and relaxed around the big pool and in the cabana overlooking the ocean.More

Was very excited to come here as the photos and reviews are great. Unfortunately we weren't particularly impressed. The drinks were alright but for some strange reason many of them (their version of a Moscow Mule for example) were served without ice. Strange and unusual...but could just be how they do things. The food would have been good if it came from a beach shack restaurant however considering it came from the kitchen in a 5 star hotel, we were very disappointed. Quite bland, cold and just not exciting. They did give us a few free nibbles but they were nothing but some cheap krupuk that costs 2,000 at a roadside warung. The food is fine, but not even worth a quarter of what you pay for it. Service was good but considering everything else, I don't think it deserves more than 3 stars. Another thing - the tables facing the ocean are very oddly placed as they have massive wooden beams separating you from the person sitting next to you. This made conversation difficult and was generally a bit awkward. My recommendation to the management is that they shift all the tables just a meter or two to one side so that none of them have this obstructive beam in the way!More
