We sat on the patio to watch the cars and people go by. The waiter was very polite and attentive. The menu had a nice variety of choices. The food was good. Not exceptional but good. The prices were high for the place and amount...More

If I could give ZERO stars I would as that is what this dump deserves...walk in the door and you're hit with a smell of mildew and mold...the bathroom (I guess that's what it was...an outhouse?) is disgusting. The berating of wait staff within earshot...More

For years, the Hillside has been our favorite place for Chicken Alfredo. We loved the rich flavor of the sautéed lightly floured chicken breast in the perfectly presented pasta with Alfredo sauce. Now if you want the dish prepared this way, you have to ask....More

The Hillside has been around for a long time. The new owners can seem to get it right every time. I have to say though that the Sunday brunch I had was very good.

We found this after searching "cute diners" on Trip Advisor and made a day out of it in this old part of DeKalb. The restaurant is hidden away on a little side street off of historic Lincoln Highway and is just as adorable in person...More
