I meet a friend here when I visit the area. Sandwiches, entrees, and all day breakfast available. Meals come with soup. Since I gluten free, I general eat breakfast items and have never been ill. The food is good and servings are large.

I've been going here on and off for the past 30 years. Good place to get breakfast. Dinnertime I usually pick the skirt steak sandwich which is very good. The place is a classic large menu restaurant and sure to have something for everyone. Good luck passing up the dessert counter.

We have eaten here for years. There was a time a few years ago it had gone down hill. Last time we were here was last summer. Stopped by today to have an early dinner. We had the Lemon Chicken with capers. Very tasty, as wee the other dinners and salads. Service was o.k. Good place to go for a... More

Went with my parents. The manager was less than thrilled to seat us. Waited about 10 minutes for a high chair. Waitress kept hovering waiting for us to order. We clearly were still looking at the menus. Food was mediocre at best. Hamburgers no big deal. Should have gone with a salad since it appeared that everyone else was having... More

I had not eaten at JC Georges for almost 20 years and decided to visit while I was in town for the Cubs World Series games. I was greeted by the same person who greeted name 20 years ago! I had diced ham and eggs. You'd think, "Nothing to see here," right? Excellent dish. They must add cream to the... More

Its where the locals go for a good meal at a great price. I ordered breakfast at noon and could not finish the food. Service is great as always. While the food is good and the service great the building needs some work however the locals could care less.

My husband's family is from the area and when we go visit, we always go to eat here. Everyone can find something to eat. LOVE the rice pudding.

Stopped here for breakfast on the way home from the city. It was busy and looked like a charming family place...besides every else we passed was fast food. How bad could it be??? I love breakfast foods of all types but have a soft spot for eggs benedict so I ordered that. It's poached eggs with a slice of C-bacon... More

I have lived in the area for over 30 years & used to eat fairly regularly there. That is when the Father ran things. The son appears to just treat it as a job not sincerely caring about his customers. Twice in the past month we were treated rudely by the same host...a relative or? The first time we were... More
