While in Chicago, my sister and I wanted to try local restaurants. Our hotel was next door to Uno. Quirky! Loved it. The pizza is wonderful but be prepared to wait 45 minutes for it to be ready. The pasta and meatballs are good if you can't wait.

Arrived Sunday night at 5 and only had 45 minute wait on a 70 degree February day. Service was great, Cameron was very helpful and pleasant. Pizza was a disappointing due to three pizzas with exceptionally dry crust. Salad was good, wine offerings suitable for pizza joint. Average pizza that didn't live up Uno's reputation.

With 2 friends we got early, 8:45 on a Saturday, to go to learn how to make deep dish pizza. Pizzeria Uno pioneered deep dish pizza back in 1943. Ryan, the chef, not only told us how to make great pizza, he also told us the history. We each made our pizza, the correct way to mix the ingredients, the... More

I tried a Chicago deep pan pizza as recommended by a tour guide and know now why the Americans call it "pizza pie" as a small one is more than sufficient for one person. Lovely and fresh though. Good food!

Best I've ever had . We'll worth the wait ! Be prepared for a REAL deep-dish pie. They will prepare it anyway you ask . Great service and price.

Atmosphere in the first Uno's is pretty cool. Almost has a Speak Easy feel to it. Service was great. Food took way longer than they told us at the door and wasn't my favorite deep dish pizza. I like several others better. In fact, ate at one of their chain restaurants in Fort Worth and loved it, but this was... More

Wanted to try a deep dish pizza while in Chicago. Popped to this place and grabbed a take away. Very friendly staff while I waited for this awesome pie to bake. So filling and we couldnt get through the whole thing. A true test of a pizza in my opion is how it pulls up the next day as a... More

This is a great great place. It feels really local and lovely atmosphere. First visit I had their deep pan, it was really relish. Second visit I had Italian beef, amazingly good! Strongly recommend this fab little restaurant. This place gets really busy but I promise it's worth the wait 😊👌
