Ok, I go to Ireland frequently and while changing planes in London I have plenty of opportunities to eat fish and chips, which I like. So, arguably I am a bit spoiled. Kitty was a disappointment. We were not even done with our clam chowder when the fish and chips arrived. Great chips but the fish was not good: mushy... More

Their Fish &Chips were excellent with the "chips" being freshly made and unlike any I'd had before. Also good was the Shepherd's Pie made with some unusual ingredients that we speculated over but the taste was very good.

Service was good & the drink prices are what you would expect in a downtown hotel bar. However, the atmosphere lacked charm or character. Everything felt old and dated. I had higher expectations for this bar being on a Hilton property. I would pass on this bar next time. There are better options in the area.

The food is amazing. The fish and chips made with fresh Atlantic cod is among the best I've had. The shepherds pie is on point and the corned beef and cabbage is by far, the best I have ever tasted. The service is great . The Irish whiskey selection is stupendous. Connected to the gorgeous historic Hilton Chicago, its conveniently... More

Staying at the Hilton for business, so grabbed a quick lunch there one day. Fish and chips ok; arrived hot, with a crisp batter. Large curly fries. Potato Soup ok, pretty ordinary. Good selection of Irish and local beers. Decor is the imported Irish pub look and adds to the ambience.

All my co-workers go here whenever they go to Chicago. They have deceit food, but nothing outstanding. Go here for drinks but there are better restaurants

My first thought on entering was that this was yet another noisy Irish-themed bar...which it was (Friday night), but when we were seated in a cozy booth, the noise settled into the background and conversation was easy. Good menu!

Typical wanna-be Irish bar found in every large city. While a decent pint of Guinness is available here, the food and drinks are merely ordinary and, being in the base of a big hotel, expensive. If you either good or authentic, go elsewhere.

Really good Irish food and great bloody mary! Conveniently located in hotel we stayed in. Offers inside/outside seat depending on weather. Great views across Michigan Ave of Grant Park and the landscaping. Just beautiful and well kept gardens.

we were in Chicago on a Saturday night and wanted to go to a pub with live Irish music. We were surprised to find very few Chicago Irish pubs with live music on Saturdays. Our hotel concierge recommended Kitty O'Sheas, inside the Hilton Hotel on South Michigan Ave. We found it very comfortable and welcoming. We had appetizers and drinks,... More
