We wanted to go to this restaurant for Peruvian food, we order the mix ceviche, it was good not sure about the orange sauce on top, a bit too spice for my taste, for our entrée we order the churrasco , was very good, the prices for me are a bit too high. Yes is BYOB.

Our waiter told us everything served here is different/better in Peru, since the meats are natural. The ceviche mixto was ample and delicious; the arroz con mariscos was very tasty and lots of seafood was mixed in. The churrasco parrilla was pretty rare, and too chewy even if you could pare off the fat and gristle. I would stick to... More

It's BYOB along with great food, service and prices. Mon-Wed are the best times to go. The empanadas and Papa Rellena are delicious!!!!

The staff is very professional, friendly and helpful in advising the diners which is the best dish of food one should choose by describing in detail the ingredients and how to prepare them and if possible what is their origin

So it's been 3 years since I'd been here & this time brought my husband. We weren't too hungry as we had a late lunch but still enjoyed the warm rolls with the aji verde & I tried their Sopa de Mariscos - Delish broth, full of fresh seafood * He had a Vegetarian dish - Vegetal al Oleo with... We sat on the back patio that I had no idea was there. Lovely. They bring out a basket of hot, fresh bread & a delicious green garlic sauce to dip. Craveable. Their ceviches are huge & delicious. Peruvian food has lots of potatoes, sweet potatoes, field corn, beef, chicken & seafood. They also have vegetarian food. There's a Japanese... More

We went with another couple who had also traveled in Peru. It had been several years since we had been to AyAy Picante. The menu is extensive and inexpensive. The BYOB makes it even better (if you bring pisco, you can have pisco sours). So many good choices. We had never had the terrific filet mignon with shrimp. The seco de... More

Having spent time in Peru as a student, my daughter selected Peruvian cuisine for her birthday meal when we were in Chicago last weekend. Ay Ay Picante was further from the Chicago Hilton than others recommended by the concierge, but it was convenient to us and, in fact, only 20 minutes driving through heavy traffic. When we arrived at 6:30... More

This place was incredible. I read all the positive reviews about the restaurant and I could not agree any more. The food was fresh and the bread that was brought to our table was so warm! The service lacked but the food made up for it. Parking is limited. If you are looking for a great Peruvian place, this is... More
