This is the place to go for that little bit more on authentic Thai food. Tastes and heat levels are right where you want them. Staff is great at altering dishes to meet you level of perfect spicy. AND if I feel a head cold coming on I always go there for soup. Any of them.

Clean, friendly, good food, good service. Haven't had a bad dish in the ten + years I've been patronizing this restaurant. Tried and true.

Chef/Owner Rangsan Sutcharit spent nine years honing his craft at Arun's and he hits a home run with this amazing gem on the north side. By far the best Thai restaurant in the Chicago area. Plate are about $2-$3 more than your typical Thai joint, but the food rivals that of Arun's ($100/person). If you're in Oak Park and you... More

I was looking for some kind of asian food that is on a regular route I travel. and I found this lovely place that is small, with excellent service and really good food at a reasonable price. The Server who i believe was a family member/owner was able to help me decide based on ingredients, flavors and my allergies which... More

we just to go to Oak Park at least once a week and drove by this little restaurant that look pretty cool from the outside, looks like a castle, once you walk in there the decoration its pretty interesting since its kid of simplistic but remains very Thai oriented which I think its very effective. the food we ordered was... Had dinner for three at Amarind's last week, and the food was sensational. You don't come here for the atmosphere -- although the restaurant is spotless and bright, its ambience is that of a local Thai restaurant (accurate!!). Dishes are beautifully presented, excellent flavors, and a good variety of choices. Since my last visit, they have gone to BYOB. All-in-all,... More

This little restaurant is right at the corner with parking lot on the back. There is also street parking on the side (and parking meters on North Avenue). This has been here for years (I've lived near Oak Park for over 15 years). Their food is consistently good. I've been to other Thai restaurants around the area, and I still... More

Everything I have ever ordered is good except the fried rice dishes, which are greasy and the Tum Yum seafood soup, which lacked body. Otherwise, after 20+ visits, I have grown very fond of all the noodle dishes and curries. Best values is lunch, where you can pick 1, 2, or 3 items for $6.95, $7.95, or $8.95 respectively. Decent... We stopped in here on a Saturday night around 7:30 after viewing the lights at Brookfield Zoo because this place is near to where my daughter lives. The place was pretty empty, probably because there had been a 3+ inch snowfall the previous night. Service was fine and the food was tasty although we only had spring rolls and 4... More
