in Chicago and wanted to get some local pizza. Yelp rated Lou Malnati's 4 stars and it was close to our hotel so we gave it a try. We ordered a salad ( very good ) and large enough to share. We then ordered a...pepperoni and mushroom pizza with butter crust. The waitress recommended the butter crust and I highly recommend it. The pizza was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend.More

Is it the best Chicago style pizza you will ever have? I can't say for sure. If you've never had it before, however, it is a good representation. We arrived and were told of a 40 minute wait but let us order our pizza so...it would be a minimal wait once we got our table. We order, leave to go explore, and then got a text two minutes later to say our table was ready. So good thing we didn't get a ride but I'll take the quick seating. As I said, the pizza was good enough to feel like you got the Chicago-style experience. I would try other places but I can't say I didn't like the food here. It was very good, especially the boneless chicken wings which were surprisingly good. I will say, in a truly petty knock on the joint, the children's menu is in the middle of the menu and not at the beginning or end like it is on most other places. So I actually ended up missing it when I ordered those chicken wings. Again, very petty I know. I just don't want anyone to make the same mistake I did. So be ready for a wait. We showed up before 5:00 and there was a 40 minute wait and when we left there was an even bigger wait. If you manage your time right, you'll enjoy this.More

Awesome place for Chicago style deep dish pizza. As with any deep dish pizza, takes a bit of time. Appetizers and salads good way to start the meal. Will definitely visit Lou Malartis on Chicago visits.

This is our favorite deep dish pizza. It’s always crowded, but we use the online waitlist feature to get on the list and save time waiting. There was a 90 minute wait the night we ate here.

Went to Lou Malnati's in the Magnificent Mile and it was a 2hr wait so we had it delivered to our hotel which still took over an hour not that bad for Saturday night. It was worth the wait as pizza is so good and...the crust is buttery. We ordered the Pepperoni and Sausage and will do the same next time.More

Time to vote this pizza as # 1. Buttery deep dish crust with sausage and Spinach garlic blend. Man it was delicious!. We also ate at Garidano's but we all agreed Lou Malnati's was tops!

I guess i had a bit of a high expectation as i had heard a lot about the pizza. The taste was oke but it was too sloppy. I guess it’s nice to try once you are in Chicago but I wouldn’t eat it regularly.

I haven’t visited the restaurant, but I’ve always ordered their frozen pizzas and get them delivered to Colorado about 2-3 times a year. I order 6 at a time as that’s the best deal, and sausage is my goto pizza! Full Layer of sausage, cheese...and sauce on top it’s amazing! Cooking is key to making their frozen pizza delicious, must be cooked right otherwise it’ll be soggy and not great. I use a pizza stone, I believe that’s the beta way, if you don’t have one out the pizza directly on the rack as getting the crust crispy is key. I cook it at 435 not just 425, and also at least 45 - 50 minutes. Take my tips and you’ll have the best Lou’s at home possible!More

I had always heard how Chicago Pizza was the best. I’ve had thin crust and deep dish and was never too impressed with deep dish. We ordered each form here. It had to be some of the most delicious pizza I’ve ever had. The small...deep dish had a rich favor with the ingredients that worked together. It could have fed 3. The thin crust vegetarian was a good match. We fed 5. This a popular spot.More

No, their pizza sauce doesn't contain either, I can't digest either onions or garlic, that's why I went there. I wanted to confirm it and I found on their blog that they specifically address that question, their pizza sauce... More
