Went there on Thursday to have a couple drinks with my boyfriend, the guy playing guitar was really good... We sat at the bar and Nicole the bartender (I asked her name because she didn't even introduce herself) was super rude. She gave me two shots and never asked if we wanted something else, I gave her my card and... More

We stopped in for a quick beer before a concert and ending up spending the whole afternoon. Our bartender was very friendly and was quick to share "local" secrets with us for other bars in the area. The regulars that were in the bar were super cool and made us feel right at home.

Stopped in due to seeing Cavs on the TV from across the street. Adequate beer selection. Heather was friendly behind the bar. Would definitely stop for a drink in the future.

Classic old-school Rush and Division haunt with everything you need and expect. Cheap brews, beer pong, loud music. Trashy but unmissable. Trashy but classy!

Great live music, which at time involves the bartender to sing from the bar, while the musician accompanies her on the stage. All this while she serves drinks! Lots of fans. Great fun.

Nice place didn't stay long enough for food. Just enjoyed the drinks and location. Nice open location to enjoy the weather in the warm months.

My friends and I went on a Tuesday night around 10pm. A lot of locals go there right after work. People were dressed in the office attire. It's a fun place! It was a younger crowd. There is a beer pong table and Jenga. We had a ton of fun!

Mother's too had an awful crowd the night we went. Just, terrible human beings. The bar can't help who comes in though. The reason I rated this bar very good is because of the bar games they have and the quality of service we received. The games include a punch game, you know, that game that a punching bag comes... Not much more than counter to sell beer, they obviously are hoping to catch the overflow from other institutions, including the original Mothers , 2 doors down. Not an intended destination in my book.

Staying in Gold Coast

Neighbourhood Profile
Gold Coast
Located just north of The Loop, Gold Coast is one of Chicago’s most affluent and popular neighborhoods. The original Playboy, Hugh Hefner, once had a mansion here. In addition to prestigious hotels, historic mansions and luxury high-rise apartments, you’ll also find upscale specialty boutiques and Michelin-starred restaurants. Walk along Oak Street for your shopping fix and dance through the night along Rush Street. The Newberry Library is also a great stop to check out noteworthy exhibits and rare book collections.
