This was a local recommendation that turned into #anotherspencefind.... The food was absolutely unforgettable. We can’t wait to return and experience with the whole family. The fried octopus and fries is a must.

I have been to many tapa places and expected much more from this place. Their paella was horrible to say the least. The only thing going for this place is they do make amazing drinks.

Cafe Ibérico is fantastic Spanish food. My grandparents were Spanish and I felt like I was at home. I had two orders of tortilla. My mother-in-law love the lamb. I had the drumsticks. The gambas al ajillo were fantastic. The red wine sangria was exceptional....More

This place used to be a go to for tapas in Chicago... but that was at least 10 years ago. I'm not sure how they've stayed in business because whenever I get talked into going back, it's still terrible. On my most recent visit, the...More

We couldn't enjoy the dinner with friends because they gave us a tiny table in front of a huge open window from which cold air came in. I asked two times to the waiter to close the window but he told me that the "manager"...More

Hello, I don't think that Cafe Iberico sells cheeses not made in Spain. But they do carry a decent selection of Spanish cheeses. From what I understand is gallo azul is not Spanish cheese. The selection of cheeses they do... More

Pay the meter on the same block if available, it is totally worth it & is cheaper than valet. Do be sure to read the no parking signs, they are not always easy to spot unless you check the entire block.

I would say they are very reasonable. I can go with about 7 or 8 people and not go past $200 depending upon what is ordered, including drinks. Tapa servings are meant to be shared so order several.
